Went together great looks good
I don’t know about all the other reviews and why they said it’s hard to put together and not sturdy. I would suspect they didn’t read any of the specs to understand that you actually put it together with I captured bolt head Type Tab to slot assembly. It doesn’t snap together But it does fit tab head into slot so works A lot like when I was a kid putting together toy Erector set. Make an adequate space lay all your parts out look at the instruction drawings and starts slowly putting it together and once you do one level take a look at it make sure it’s right and then if it is move onto the next tier. Patient grasshopper lol Seriously, just take your time.Mine looks really, really good In fact, I’m buying a second one

CHEAP GARBAGE
The shelf will work for light items, but I have zero confidence this passed a weight test. With 30 lb on a shelf, it started to bow. May not sound like a huge deal, but when the shelf bows, the metal bar it sits on also bows because it’s made out of very cheap and pliable aluminum—so it’s at risk of collapse. Not to mention, the shelf board is made of 1/4” mdf and bends/breaks easily. Not user friendly to put together, and it appears to be made of aluminum so the metal parts bend very easily. They also sent garbage parts, including a leg that was too short. I was so nervous about the shelves, I decided it was far too dangerous to stack them. Spend about $30 more and you can get yourself an actual reliable shelf from your local big box hardware store….these just aren’t worth it unless you’re storing feathers.

I like it!
But... get a mallet, otherwise, ya ain't gettin' it together! Seriously, every household should own a mallet anyway. Just a small lightweight rubber mallet with about a 2" hammering surface head. The people who couldn't get this together didn't have a mallet. Otherwise, pretty easy to put together, just pay attention to the TINY assembly picture. The horizontal side supports go with the wide formation up. The shelf surfaces are quite tight and hard to get in after the fact. You'd be wise to put them in as you are hammering the last leg in on each half. Also, the product photo is not accurate. The vertical side parts are not one piece but two and there is a plastic connector between them (which also requires the mallet). This plastic connector will affect the aesthetic if that matters to you. Mine is going in the garage so I don't care, but if using inside I probably would care. It is not as sleek of a look as the photo shows.

This thing is hilariously cheap and flimsy, but also worth the money.
I think out of all the pre-made/ assemble-your-self purchases I have made over the years this is the only one I had to beat the crap out of to get it together, and then bend it all back to shape. I'm a pretty handy person so it didn't really bother me beating it up and then bending it back. The direction are hilarious also. Throw those away. Once it is all together, it's a decent little shelf for the price but if you don't really force your way around this assembly I guarantee this thing will be flimsy and wobbly on you. Some folks on here were using a rubber mallet to get it together. I used a 20 oz hammer,. and then sheet metal bending pliers to straighten up whatever got a little bent in the process. You really need to get kind of aggressive with this thing if you want all the tabs and notches to lock in place where there are supposed to be. If not you'll have this 1/4" off over here, 3/8" off over there. It will be out of square, wobbly and flimsy. If you beat this like a rug then you'll have a decent little shelf when you are done.

A great product that can use some improvement
I read the reviews about this product before buying it and I had to find out for myself if they were true. It turns out that they were true. The instructions are difficult to use, but not impossible if you are a visual thinker. The parts need a rubber mallet to force them together but that is an obvious tradeoff between ease of construction and sturdiness. The manufacturers chose the latter because once you get it assembled it stands straight and strong with no lean or jiggle. The shelves are thin as reviewers said so be careful how you try to put them in place because they could flex and tear like cardboard. I will add that the assembly should require gloves because there is a finger pinch hazard as I learned from experience. That should be in the instructions. Use gloves. And the top of the metal beams could snag, scratch, and rip so they need a covering to make them safer. I am going to make my own covers. Even with those problems mentioned the product is worth the money once you get it assembled, I think.

Great shelves. Easy assembly.
These shelves are very solid and stable after assembly. The instructions aren't great, but assembly is pretty easy to figure out. Note that the instructions are written for a four-shelf unit, instead of five. The picture in the Amazon listing is correct, there are FIVE shelves. The instructions are wrong, and they show part counts for four shelves. So, you'll have two more side brackets, two more front/back brackets, and one more shelf than listed in the instructions.

Stay away
This table is not only cheap. It is dangerous. I was putting two pieces together when one slipped and cut my finger pretty bad and deep. If you are silly enough to buy this wear gloves. Pieces were bent. Would not go together easy. Instructions were garbage. So many things I very rarely put up a bad review this was absolutely a nightmare. Not to mention that it comes in about 25 pieces.

Cheap Cheap Cheap
the metal is so thin it bends and twists so bad i had to straighten it out several times putting it together. the shelf boards are thin and puny and sag with any kind of weight. the horizontal rails are so bendable that, when an item is pulled of the shelf they bend out towards the way it is pulled, then the shelf board has to be held up while pushing the rail back into place. would not wish this item on my worst enemy. not worth boxing up and sending back. taking to the dump as soon as i recieve the replacement set.
