Purchased to use in my oil lamp when electricity is off during storm season, and other times. I wish I would have ordered the larger size, but was not sure that it would work, so played it safe and ordered the 1/2”.

Fits My Cheap Oil Lamp from Walmart
The perfect sized wick for a cheap oil lamp that I purchased from Walmart for power outages. Walmart sells the wick in a few, small cut strips, but it's more costly to buy that way. This entire roll is a lot, and will probably outlast the lamp, so now I can buy a few more lamps.

Sized in mm not inches
Wick seems high quality and consistent at a good price. However the size is inaccurate. This is not 3/8" (0.375in or ~9.55mm) it is 10mm (~.394in). It is a little to big for my lantern I used it in; I had to slowly push it in with a small screwdrive to feed it. It does seem to work but the flame is flat on the top and not rounded, so it does affect the flame. I measured the wick with calipers to confirm.

Product quality is decent.. But this seller is very slow to ship would be my only complaint
I like the product. I dislike slow it was shipped from the time I placed the order . I would have given it 5 stars but as slow as the shipping was it warrants only 4. I pre soaked the wicks for 24 hours in lamp oil before loading them into lamp .. I think this saved the painful process of waiting for it to wick and light properly.. I hope this helps others .. Seller has decent products but can DEFINITELY Improve on shipping time

Ideal Replacement
I bought this wick to replace is severely diminished one in my Dietz kerosene lantern. This replacement wick is absolutely identical to the one that came with the Dietz lantern, and more importantly it is made out of the same material. The wick is packaged in a sizable roll, so you simply cut off the length you need, and store away the rest for when you need it. Given the size of the roll of wick, it should last for quite some time.

Fast shipping and item as described
Looks like a quality wick. A little thicker than I thought, but that’s good. Used in a number 2 burner but haven’t tried it yet.
