Growing on me (Updated x2)
Long time chopsticks user and have visited Seoul where I used the genuine items. Korean SS chopsticks have a U-shaped profile and the flat edges on the tip are serrated in order to grip the food. They are shaped so that the flat edges naturally come in contact with each other. These chopsticks are shorter than others I am used to and have a () profile that is too thin and flat. The shape does not fall readily into the hand and I could barely use them. I tried them with ramen noodles for lunch today and it was disastrous. The short length coupled with only a slight taper makes for an overly large v-shape that can only grip half the noodles that I am used to. Not only that, they were hot when they contacted my tongue and left a metallic taste. Even the spoon itself is a bit short and holds slightly less than a common tablespoon.Needless to say I will be looking elsewhere for more usable and genuine items (Update: having problems finding my "ideal").UPDATE: I was watching a South Korean drama last night and noticed that the whole family was eating noodles using chopsticks with the same thin profile as these. I also noticed that they were holding them completely differently from the way that I hold them (acquired from years of eating Chinese food). It looks like I will need more practice with these, but the whole set is still a bit on the short side.UPDATE 2: Using the spoon daily for quite some time now and its finish has held up beautifully. A week ago, I started grappling with the flat, short and thin chopsticks this week and getting used to them. Keep in mind that I used the stouter and pointier Chinese/Japanese chopsticks for years and had to re-learn how to use this new style. In summary, the only regret that I have is that the set was slightly larger and longer, especially the chopsticks.

Spoon is better than the chopsticks
The spoon is great. Long handle for everything from stirring a tall glass of tea to eating soup. The chopsticks are very flat. They're difficult to hold onto. Remember that the Asians grip higher on the chopsticks than most Americans (the part with the check board). Don't pinch the food, just hold them so they make an acute angle and scoop. They are pretty.

Tricky tricky
I love the spoon. Still haven't figured out how to use the chopsticks, but I'm working on it. I didn't think they'd be THAT difficult, because I use Chinese style chopsticks all the time, but these are tricky.

Okay chopsticks
These seem decent enough in terms of craftsmanship. They're flat chopsticks, and I've only ever used round ones, so these take some getting used to.

Just what I was looking for
I like the "sujeo", the long handled spoon, with the unique flat Korean chopsticks. It makes eating bibimbap at home a lot more like eating at a restaurant. These items are made in Korea out of a decent stainless steel. The pattern on the end is attractive, and overall, I am very pleased.

Unhappy
Chop sticks very thin and slick not easy to use. Would not buy again.

Great value!
I bought this for my daughter who is obsessed with the Korean culture (thanks to K-pop and K-dramas). She loves them. The best part was that they arrived a lot quicker than what Amazon said they would!!!
