Amazon Brand – Rivet Glass Ball and Metal Table Lamp with Bulb Included, 21.5" H, Brass

So first and foremost, I really love the design of this table lamp. Because it has a glass globe shape, it throws great light at the room, and really brightened the space up! I wear glasses, but For me, this puts out perfect light for doing tasks at my desk once the sun goes down! I should note: I did not use the lightbulb provided, because that one was too dim(only produces 350 lumens.) instead, I purchased more powerful and higher wattage E12 LED bulbs at my local hardware store. I actually purchased higher 100 watt E12 LED bulbs but that didn’t work with the base, but the 75 watt does. I have attached a photo of the brand I purchased, so you can see the details and the brightness rating on the package. TIP: if you want a warm but still bright white color of light, buy “soft white” colored bulbs. The lamp shade is frosted a cooler white color already, so the orangey color of soft white LED bulbs is brightened up, and creates the perfect middle ground of not too orange and not too white in my opinion :) If you what a very bright and cooler light from this lamp, you can achieve that by going with “Cool White” LEDs.I actually ordered a few different almost identical table lamps from different manufactures to compare them, and this style and brand is the only one with a base that is all one piece( shown in last photo) which I really like, because it keeps the lines clean and minimal. I also like the tone of the brass/ gold of the lamp legs, which is less of an oiled/ distressed bronze color and more of a true brass, which the other similar lamps I ordered did not have. It came well packed, and the glass orb was already assembled and packed in styrofoam, so as not to be damaged in the shipping process. All I had to do what screw the lightbulb in, and then screw the globe shade on to the base and it was all put together.TIP: keep the packaging and the box that this comes in, for when inevitably need to move! Nothing will protect the delicate glass orb shade that this lamp has as well as the original packaging ;)Unfortunately I had to send this particular lamp back, because of the marred frosted globe shade that it came with. I believe it was a manufacturing defect and quality control error from the company that makes and packs this lamp( not amazon), so I contacted amazon customer service and they have sent me an exact replacement of the exact same lamp. I will update this review once I receive the new lamp, hopefully it will be free from any unintentional defects, and I can give this a better rating!*UPDATE* the replacement lamp is perfect! Love this and will be ordering another!

I really like this lamp- it’s exactly what I wanted! It takes a 5w LED candelabra-base bulb, which it comes with; Hue also makes this kind of light bulb, so I plan to make it a smart lamp eventually. It’s got a really nice warm glow that is surprisingly bright, just right for when I’m winding down and getting ready to sleep. Neither of my rowdy cats have managed to take it out as they run around yet, the tripod base is sturdy enough that a light breeze won’t knock it over (but not very heavy- it isn’t weighted). The on/off switch is on the cord.Update 2020: Well, this guy is still going strong. I did in fact get a Hue LED candelabra-based smart bulb for it shortly after posting this review. I noticed some warnings on the Hue packaging against keeping their bulbs in an enclosed fixture, because it might shorten its life... either that's overcaution on their part, or the shortening they're talking about is out of the 10 years or whatever that an LED bulb COULD last, because I've had zero problems with it in 2 years. The striping issue other people mentioned is in fact the bulb, and when using the Hue bulb I see no stripes (just a single tiny dot).I have it set to turn on slowly an hour before my alarm goes off, a bit like the sun rising... it does help on those dark days! Definitely the best amazon gift card I've spent, lol.

I love this lamp. It is so cool and gets lots of compliments. It comes nicely packaged and even has the bulb included. I changed out the bulb for a Phillips Hue color bulb...and the color effect is very dramatic. This lamp is definitely worth the price! The globe IS glass... so be careful. The circumference of my globe is around 20-24"... so... it is a larger globe than what most people realize.

My apartment's living room is crazy dark. This lamp does a great job of filling the room with a nice, warm light that doesn't hurt the eyes. I put it in the corner on my coffee table and my previously dark room feels cozy and warm. If I'm near the lamp I have enough light to see very well. The light reaches about 6 feet before it fades off a bit but it still lights up a good portion of my apartment.Looks very sleek, the on/off switch is found on the cord, while although I'm not the biggest fan of it, it is reasonable considering there isn't really a good place for the switch on the actual lamp.If you look at the sphere with the light on, it is a bit distorted. I'm not sure if that is normal, but I thought it worth mentioning.Overall I like the lamp, it does a good job of lighting a room and it can be kept at eye level without blinding me.

What makes me sad is that this lamp has so much potential! Adorable, minimalist design, very easy to assemble. However, I was incredibly disappointed with the patchiness/distortion of the globe. I’m not sure if a new bulb would help as it seems to be a quality issue with the globe itself. There was also some small defects with the paint on the tree, and sticky residue on the cord. So unfortunate.

Talk about a statement piece! I love lamps that look as good off as they do on. This table lamp will definitely get some complements from guests as it's quite eye-catching. The orb floats on the brass base and kind of gives off a feeling of a moon in your room at night. It also ships with a bulb! Packaging seemed sturdy and nothing was damaged which is possible whenever you're shipping glass. The lamp really looks like something that you'd see in a fancy store for $300+ so I'm very impressed with the price point here.

We bought this to go in our spare bedroom as a desk lamp, and it is perfect. Slim, nice design, well built, and easy to assemble. Gives out a great, bright but warm diffuse light. Only downside is the stickers on the back of the lamp which are SO DIFFICULT to remove without leaving residue.

Llegó bien empacada y a tiempo, el color del metal se ve desgastado, las instrucciones un poco confusas, incluye foco, solo que ya colocada se desprendió la burbuja de vidrio blanco porque solo viene pegada, y ya no funciona como artículo decorativo, no recomiendo su compra.

This was the perfect lamp for my small space condo. The light at night is a soft glow and looks great.

The bulb it comes with is trash, but the lamp is great. It can fit a hue candle bulb no problem. I wish it took a E26 bulb instead so it could throw more light than the smaller bulbs.The included doesn't appear fit for any use whatsoever. Why include it?

Brought this lamp as it was recommended on two interior decor youtube channels.Liked the look. However the glass ball just randomly fell off a week ago (thankfully on the couch)! Noticed that it had been glued on and that the glue had completely dried! We tried to fix it with the super glue (Gorilla brand) but didn't work at all. Complete waste!
