I was already sold on the fact that it was a bat and the neat cube display, but when it went a step further and can be turned into a ship...awesome.

Like Bakugan on steroids!
It's like a Transformer, but it's also like a Bakugan. This is a cool toy. It transforms into 4 different forms. The coolest being the cube, it's just cool to see a bat fold up into a cube. My oldest daughter loved this, even though she didn't read the instructions.

as always, impressive engineering from 52toys. love these guys.the bat is very cool looking and surprisingly cute for a mech. the bat ears are wonderfully emotive. the one place where this toy stumbles is the jet mode, it looks and feels a bit like an afterthought; a very will made afterthought but still.instead of following the instructions ver-batem for the airplane mode I just pet the wings together like for the bat and have a reversed wing batwing style stealth jet

Good design, good quality
This really reminded me of the transforming toys I had as a kid. This does seem a little more durable then the ones I remember. The plastic is pretty good quality, the sculpt looks good. The transformation will require instructions. The instructions, however, are a little rough to read. My kids love to fidget with things, and this is a lot to fidget with, so they like them.
