I dont use a blowtorch a huge amount so when I spotted this one I figured I'd add it to my ever expanding toolkit. I do a lot of handyman work as well as woodworking so there is a wide range of uses I can find for this: a bit of plumbing soldering here and a bit of wood charring there amongst many others.Operation of the torch is a breeze...screw on the bottle of gas, open the valve, turn the yellow on/off button to on, push it in to ignite and make sure the little holding button is pressed in and off you go torching to your hearts content. Its worth noting that so far the ignition has worked first time almost everty time so far. The flame is very controllable with the valve which turns very nice and smoothly.I can't say that I've found any criticisms of the torch other than perhaps it is a little heavy, but to me that is reassuring that it is built well. It is a great tool for periodic use although I expect it could be used in a professional capacity due to the build quality.

The media could not be loaded.  I use this on my MAP X 400gr gas cylinder. It is fantastic. Simply screw the bottle on to the torch head and it is ready to go.It has an electronic ignition...simply turn the switch to on, push the start button once and it will ignite. You can press the button on the top to lock the torch on and no need to hold the button down when using for longer periods of time.You can adjust the gas flow using the adjuster knob. It has a narrow angle flame, so very focused on what you need heated. So far, it has not let me down. Just remember to allow it to cool down after use

This blowtorch has a weight about it. If you are into your metal work and heavy duty soldering then this is the tool for you. I find it easy to handle and a comfortable size for me. It is all well made with a solid body as well as brass control fittings. This is definitely a workshop tool and not something for someone to use at home as it requires the hoses and gas cylinders and I don't know many people who routinely keep those at home.It is easy to adjust and gives fairly good control given the price it is what I would expect.

what I like about this is that it dose the job perfect and nice throw out the time it is not to big you have put it in a safe place out of kids love it.

This propane torch top arrived packed nicely in a box and comes in fully assembled, there is also a manual included which has all the standard / good safety features and the quality of all parts seems to be pretty decent.The handle comes in with a ignition button which is extremely handy, last one I used I had to power up manually.I connected it to my propane cylinder (used Yellow), turned the +/- knob, switched the ignition to "on" and then off it went, it took 3-4 clicks and the flame was out.Very happy with the performance so far, however, I noticed the bottom side does not come with an O-Ring which mean there can be some micro-leaks etc if it's not tight enough, I therefore strongly recommend you take extra care when using the product, always good to test outdoors before working indoors.Overall, I was quite pleased with this torch, also easy to diss/assemble.

Torch arrived simply packed in a plain cardboard box.Note that only the torch is included and you will have to source your Mapp gas canister elsewhere, though these are easily available from most hardware and DIY shops.The torch is well built and has a decent finish. All controls are smooth and work as they should.These torches are a big step up from the humble blowtorch and with Mapp gas you can reach suitable temperatures for brazing when you are joining relatively thin pieces.Flame is readily adjustable using the knob at the rear and the ignition works first time, every time.A good addition to any DIYer's arsenal.
