Super Adorable! 4 Light wooden boards around 2.5 feet length and 5-6 in width. Each board is individually unique with various patterns and textures across them. The patterns and textures serve as grips, and sensory items. You can overlap the ends of each board by a connector square that stabilizes them from shifting between one another. Then place them in the shape of a simple square, or snake for a more challenging obstacle course for your child, or place each one flat on the floor if your child is still unsure or afraid when it comes to balancing. They won’t be falling far either way if they miss a step. I worried a little about my toddler hitting her head if she slips, as the wood is hard. Fortunately, she only plays on them when supervised by an adult. The older kiddo’s like my 6 and 8 year old have more control and stability over their steps, but this gives them all a bit more practice with their eye to feet coordination. Thus giving them the practice needed to achieve great stability and self balance through the joys of fun. This has been a great physical and educational exercise and stimulation increasing my children’s reflex , stability , coordination skills through different colors, textures, and creativity physical play. Channeling and directing their hyperactive energy in a healthy physical exercise we all enjoy. My favorite part as a mother, is the storage bag that fits all the wood planks and connectors. This makes for an easy take along game to enjoy outdoors or other suitable places for play. They are weighted a bit, but aren’t too heavy to carry. My 6 year old and my 2 year old especially love playing with the boards while making games and rules up as they go- like don’t fall off the log into the rapid river, and don’t touch the floor because it’s hot hot lava! They have tons of fun with these making yet another parental success!

I got this because my 4y.o. grandson who lives with us is in gymnastics, and loves balancing on things. Well, his little brother loves it, too! The wooden boards have a very nice, smooth finish. They join easily with the pegged connectors, in multiple configurations. He loves putting them together in different ways, rearranging them over and over. The whole set comes in a nice, zippered canvas case, and my g'son can actually put it up by himself. I highly recommend this product.

I'm so impressed with this balance beam set! The quality of the wood is top-notch and the design is sturdy and well-thought-out. My kids (ages 3-6) have been having a blast playing on it, trying to balance and walk along the beams. The different heights and angles provide a great challenge and really help improve their balance and coordination skills. I also appreciate that it's easy to assemble and disassemble, making it perfect for indoor or outdoor play. The price is also very reasonable for the quality and amount of pieces you get. This was a lot smaller than I thought it would be. My 2 year old could walk across one board in 3 steps. Aside from me not reading the dimensions well, she was not a fan of how it felt on her feet. She doesn't use this very often or if she does, she flips it to the flat surface. It is easy to assemble, but it just lays there. If a kid pushes on it, it pops off. I do like that it can have many different configurations, but that doesn't really matter since my kids don't like it.

My daughter is quite a sensory seeker specifically with her feet and this is a must-have. She is obsessed. You can adjust it very easily and flip it different ways to switch things up or make a specific shape. My only gripe would be how easy it is to pop off the pegs. If pressure is put on a certain area.. it could be very easy to roll an ankle and for things to lift. So with that, be careful. Outside of that, we truly love it so much.
