Didn’t work for my car
This comes as a folded up, reinforced net with grommet holes in it and six bungee-type elastic fasteners—a set of four with hooks, and then another two “luggage ropes.” I’m not very mechanical minded, and mine came with no instructions, so I had to puzzle it out. I looked at the vendor’s photos and noticed that you attach two of the holes (the top of the net) to the handles above your windows in the front seats with the mounting hooks. This pretty much relies on those handles. I have an older (2003) Toyota Matrix (similar inside to a Corolla), and it doesn’t have a handle above the the driver’s-side window. So there was really nowhere to fasten one top end. There are handles above the back windows, but that does not allow the net to be stretched out, as is needed. One vendor’s photo shows the bottom cords attached to the knobs for the front seats, but only one of my seats (driver’s side) has such a knob, so I instead fastened them to the bars below the front seats that allow you to push the seats back and forward. That left the netting much too loose, and too low to be effective. I was trying to figure out what to do with the "luggage cords," and decided to put them around the stems of the front headrests to bring up the top of the netting. That still kept the net too low, and those cords are not long enough to put around the actual headrests. This just does not work for my car.I really hate to post negative reviews but:1) Check to make sure you have a handle above the driver’s door and2) Don’t expect much—if anything this is probably more of a psychological barrier for a small or medium-sized dog if it works for your vehicle.
