Most would use these for pants, and they do work great for that, but I also use them for strappy dresses. Instead of hanging the dresses by the straps and stretching them out I use these to clip just below the straps and hang the dresses up that way. They came with the hanger part disconnected. That just needs to be screwed in. The sturdiness of them is great and I like that the clips are metal not plastic. The clips do have a rubber grip but it's a nice soft rubber and won't mark clothes like some do.

These are very sturdy hangers with strong clips, but I'm not going to lie, the reason I chose these hangers is because they look nice. Though they are pricier than normal pant hangers, I will probably get more, a set a month{for 3 or 4 months), and gradually replace all of my pant hangers. Now I have to get shirt hangers to match-LOL.

These are good quality and easy to assemble. They look sleek but they are not as space efficient as i had hoped. Adjustable clip distance. Pretty for display.
