Beatle building set greatly received , look great and good value for money

The media could not be loaded. It has taken me a while to build this Beatles model but wow, it is worth it.It’s the largest kit I’ve ever made on my own but the instructions are very good so I think it’s suitable for people with limited or no block building experience. Any Beatles fan will LOVE this kit.I actually thought I’d gone a bit wrong with the ‘The Beatles’ sign as it didn’t connect to anything but it’s purposefully that way so you can push it to change the lighting effects. It’s relatively easy to see who is who in the figurine models and Paul McCartney is absolutely spot on.I really can’t recommend this kit highly enough. It would be a fab gift for a Fab Four fan.

This is a fabulous recreation of The Beatles' iconic Arrows set from 1964. The whole set is top quality and a joy to assemble with easy-to-follow instructions. The 3-mode integrated USB lighting system brings the set to life.Fans of The Beatles and brick-building sets will most certainly enjoy building this one.Recommended!

This is a very different type of model set from MEGA Blocks and one I did not even know was available until it became available to me, just looking at the box art you can immediately see that this is a model recreation of the very first time The Beatles were shown live on American TV on "The Ed Sullivan Show" with a performance that truly started BeatleMania around the world and to any fan of the Beatles, an iconic moment in history which this set celebrates really well, as such this is a model set not aimed at a younger audience which most MEGA Blocks sets are known for though I can imagine a shared generational building experience with this set.The set brilliantly recreates the stage of the Ed Sullivan show where the Beatles performed, it also maintains the traditional MEGA Blocks look in all the minifigures of each Beatle which has the likeness of each member of the band but still retains that classic MEGA Blocks style. The cameras, lights and microphones are all placed exactly as they were on stage that night with the bonus feature of the lights themselves being actual lights which can be powered either by battery pack or how I chose, a powerbank.The build is straightforward with very good instructions to follow, I would say the only tricky part is the wiring for the lights themselves which can be tricky to get into the correct positions due to the material of the cable not making them as flexible as they need to be but in no way is a stopping point or blockage to completing this model. The price is high for this which is why it is aimed at the fanbase of the Beatles and it is very much a unique and different way to show that fandom and appreciated as a fan that this would be an amazing gift or just a display piece in the home. Very well made, fun to build and looks great when complete, I hope to see more from MEGA Blocks in this style going forward.

This building set is great for a fan of the beatles. It takes a good few hours to complete and with the LED lights this is really worth the money. Once complete with the lights on this looks really impressive and effective. The instructions are clear enough to understand and no bits missing either.

In a nutshell:Things I liked:+ Faithful recreation of the famous arrow set from their first appearance on the Ed Sullivan Show. In particular, the staging and lighting rigs look great and I love the fact that things like the cameras and stage microphones are still very much of the time.+ The quality of the pieces is absolutely excellent. From start to finish, this was a joy to put together. If you're not familiar with Mega blocks, you should know that they're made by Mattel and have been around for a really long time as a substantial competitor for Lego. It's not a cheap knock-off brand - this is an excellent quality set.Things I didn't like:- Super disappointed that, after all that attention to accuracy and detail, they felt the need to apply the Mega Blocks logo to the drum kit and guitar.Do I recommend it?Yes, absolutely. Despite my (perhaps over the top) unhappiness about the little tiny logo on the drums and guitar, it's an amazing set and looks fabulous. It's absolutely the kind of set you want out on display all the time.
