Having tried a few different espressos now, I thought I would give this ristretto a try. My experience with ristretto is limited, except that I know it is a stronger version of espresso and more concentrated. Based on that I know that it would lead to a stronger taste, and this product did not disappoint. It was definitely stronger but not in a more bitter or more unpleasant kind of way. But the room definitely smelled like coffee when it was made and when I tasted it, I guess I agree with other reviewers that it is a more earthy kind of taste. Because of that, I decided to just add it in as a sort of "shot" to my regular cups of coffee, and I feel like it really gives a caffeine and flavor boost! The coffee with this "espresso shot" added makes it taste richer and more high quality. Combined with chocolate or a chocolate creamer, this brew really shines and is super drinkable by itself, or mixed with coffee. I am super impressed with the quality and will be sad when I run out.

Has a nice robust flavor and packs a nice kick, perfect for a morning boost. My only issues is that 8 of the 10 pods were crushed, three of them were completely unusable but the other five were still able to be used luckily.

I recently tried these nespresso pods, and I'm pleased to report that they exceeded my expectations in every way. These coffee pods delivered robust and flavorful coffee while working flawlessly with my nespresso machine.The first thing that caught my attention was the rich aroma that filled the room as the coffee brewed. It was a promising sign of the taste to come. The coffee itself was bold and full-bodied, just the way I like it. The flavor was consistent and never disappointed, making my morning coffee ritual an absolute delight.What's great about these nespresso pods is their compatibility with my nespresso machine. I had zero issues with them fitting or brewing. They slide in smoothly, puncture without a hitch, and produce a consistently good cup of coffee every time.

Reading the reviews made me realize how completely coffee-ignorant I am! It is an education just reading them! Therefore, I cannot really contribute to the discussion, so I'll just say it was fine, nothing amazing, but nothing negative about it. I guess it just seems an average cup.

Fortunately I have a kcup insert so I can brew what ever brand/type of coffee I want so I can still enjoy the flavor which is very good.

First of all, these fit and work properly in our KitchenAid Nespresso machine, which has been a problem with some other 3rd-party capsules. The copy on the packaging is all in German, which I don't speak or read, but that was OK.Flavor is smooth, not overly bitter, and has a smoky-woodsy quality. It was good without anything else, just black. I found it to be very pleasant, with a great aroma. They are on the expensive side per capsule, but it would be worth trying it and seeing if you really like the flavor, in which case it could be worth the price.

These capsules give a mild cup of coffee that's smooth, but not as rich or flavorful as I prefer. The coffee is gentle on my stomach and is great hot or iced, but is lacking in the depth of flavor that I'm used to. This Nespresso coffee capsule from German brand Tchibo is a really nice cup of joe! It is definitely a solid medium roast (3 out of 6 intensity) with low acidity bitterness to it. A really universal option. I tend to prefer a darker roast myself, but my mom prefers light to medium. I save this for her when she stops by as she really likes the taste of this coffee. She gives it 5 stars!
