Fitted in a garage so very good that it's an illuminated switch plus goes off after 5 minutes so no chance of the light being left on for long periods. Easy to install

I bought this but ended up sending it back. It was so simple to fit and easy to set up BUT, when the switch is "off", the bulb remains very dinpy lit so it will constantly drain power while fitted. I tried it with an LED and CFL lamps and they both had the same issue. So I returned this switch; it's not fit for my purpose. Quality was good and it's main function was good.

I fitted this timer switch as I keep forgetting to turn the light off in a cloakroom. It's just OK, the connector terminals are quite small so I had to use a 5A connector to hold three wires in and run one to the switch. The plastic it's made from is a bit cheap and not that strong. The switch once pressed can't be turned off until it times out either. I had to fit a capacitor across the LED bulb to make it stop glowing when turned off. So yes it does the job and I can live with the drawbacks, to be honest there was not too much choice when buying. So my conclusion is, its OK and does the job but is spoiled by the limited operation.

Bought this switch to fit in food store, pantry, as nearly everyone was forgetting to switch off light after use. I wired this switch in series with the existing switch which was located outside of the pantry. Timer switch I fitted just inside the pantry. Switch outside the pantry can be left on or can be switched off if shorter light time is required. I set my switch to just over 2 minutes.. It took quite a few attempts to get the timer setting that I wanted. The control knob is very sensitive if a low time is required, however the timer is easier to set if a longer “on” time is required, 12 minutes being the maximum. Switch is illuminated when in the “off” mode which makes it very easy to locate in a dark environment. Overall I am very pleased with my purchase, the quality is good enough for the job intended and the switch fits into a standard light switch pattress. If you are prepared to be patient with adjusting the timer I would recommend this item.

Firstly, they are a bit on the 'thick' side and stand out from the wall, meaning they look somewhat cheaper than many switches of this type. Second - and most importantly - THEY DO NOT WORK WITH THE TIMER! I had a qualified electrician appointed to fit them and no matter what he tried, they would not work on the timer. I did ask the seller to take them back as they were undamaged and complete in original packaging but as I was outside the 30-day return (couldn't get electrician any earlier) they would only offer replacements and not a refund, but they wanted to test them first and I had to pay for the return (so much for customer trust and service!). AVOID THIS ITEM! BE AWARE THAT THE SELLER WILL WANT TO TEST THE ITEM (I assume even in the 30day return window). Lesson here - DON'T BUY CHEAP!

Bought this to switch our bathroom fan on and off and needed a two wire switch (no neutral). It was easy to fit and to set up. It seems to be very good value for money.

Eventually, it might get too stressful to remember to turn off the bathroom extractor when removing smells or shower mist. Also you may need to leave the house immediately. A delay timer is the answer. The fitting of this device is not easy but can be done with patience if you have the skills and equipment to do it. I took the best part of a day. I decided to hide the wire between the delay timer and the existing pull switch. The bench set-up was helpful and it turns that 10 to 12 seconds delay works well. Pushing the button restarts the fan. We are happy with the outcome.
