These panels are easy to cut to size even for the outlets. We used an oscillating tool to make the cuts for the outlets and a miter saw to cut the panels to length. We purchased outlet box extensions to bring the outlets out 3/4 of an inch to be in front of the panels. The small over cuts on the corners of the outlet areas will be covered by the face plate. It took about 4 hours to install since we had to figure out the outlets and we used the brackets and screws instead of adhesive. The trim pieces give a nice finish to the edges. Each panel has the wood finish on only 6” of each piece (not 6.2” as the .2” is a small groove that attaches the next panel). Keep that in mind when you are taking your measurements! We are very happy with the results!

Was nervous because the reviews were average at best so I safeguarded my bet by ordering these and the real wood ones from another vendor. These looked amazing, well packaged, easy to work with, and you get more of them for less money! I returned the real wood ones. They cut easily (I used a fine tooth hacksaw and did it by hand) and installed easily (I used construction adhesive), they fit together well and you can’t tell where they meet. If I had a complaint (and I really don’t) it would be that they’re kinda expensive for what they are but they’re worth it and look great. They are decorative only so if you want sound deadening or acoustic panels note that these are not that, it’s the same plastic/fiberboard material throughout.

Great product, easy to put them up on a wall and looks great. I only encountered a few problem some of the panels back were damaged slightly and shipping took close to a month. End product looks great!!!

If you’re looking for affordable nice looking wall panels you definitely have to order these. I’m very satisfied with the purchase. These are not wooden panels, look like pressed cardboard but hard enough, very easy to cut and install. Has very nice wood structure. Looks great in my daughter’s room.

It came damaged. I am dissapointed but will try to make it work.

decent for the price, but you also get what you pay for. I have mixed emotions about these. They look really cool, but you have to temper expectations. The woodgrain look on them is a thin laminate - you can see/feel that at the top and bottom edges of the slats. I am afraid that if you somehow tore that laminate, it would start to peel badly. They say that these are trimmable. I would only use the finest finish of saw blades to so. If not, the edges will be jagged, and the laminate would probably be further susceptible to tearing. The laminate is overlayed on some sort of recycled plastic/fiberboard combo. I wouldn't use them in a bathroom, kitchen, or any place that might get moisture or condensation. The slats come with mounting brackets as well. You can probably create a nice look with these slats, but be very careful what you do with them, and don't expect it to be your "forever" look.
