Its a quirky and unusual design if you want something different it may be for you.
This watch is an unusual design and I wasnt too sure about it on the wrist but it has grown on me. I get the reference to the Sputnik satellite. Its certainly a Chinese watch but aiming to capture the spirit of the opriginal Slava Russian watches. The version supplied does not have the original Slava 2472 restored movements that were incorporated in some of the new CCCP watches. It appears to be a customised version of a Chinese movement with the Slava branding in cyrillic, but mine is keeping good time. Plus about 10 seconds in a 24 hour period, quite good for a mechanical watch. The case is nicely finished and the strap has a good length. I like the red inner leather finish and the transparent window in the back of the watch is also red, very unusual very Russian?. I find its not easy to read the time and the seconds hand is so fine its almost.invisible but overall I can live with it. The supplier offered a refund when I queried the movement. They answered my query very promptly but because i liked the quirky look and it is keeping good time I kept the watch,
