Good product. Good price. Good performance.
If am satisfied with the performance. Careful installation into my Gigabyte motherboard and Fractal Design case yielded good results.

Very Strong APU
I bought this chip because it was NOT recommended by the big YTubers (you know who they are). It smokes any app, it plays 1080 games 85-110 fps. It runs memory at DDR5-7000 Responsiveness is incredible. This isn't a 200fps chip using only the IGPU. With a standalone GPU card, it is a beast, gaming is flawless. It is superb at everything. Loading and making adjustments to a 29,000 line Excel file is super fast.5 month update. This APU is as fast as a Ryzen 7600 but with Superb Graphics. IF your intention is AAA 4K gaming then I would tell you to buy a dedicated GPU.This APU is an Overkill for literally everything tasks. High End AAA Gaming is a different story..There is No Word, Excel, Browser or any other task that this APU chip can't handle, it's just that powerful. It's stupid fast. Do not concern yourself if this chip can play a video; I can play 4K videos on a 55" 4K TV ALL DAY with no issues. Also it works extremely good on Linux MINT. Zero Issues, None!

Good for light gaming with enough RAM
bought this instead of the Ryzen 5 7600 because I couldn’t get a discrete GPU yet. It was very easy to install. I used a third party cooler and it never gets above 55 degrees C. The PC doesn’t even get warm. I was able to play light games like Minecraft with shaders at high settings at 1080p 60fps. It actually runs Minecraft better than my old gaming laptop (8th gen i7 and GTX 1060 6GB). I was even able to get Marvel Rivals running with lowest settings and FSR upscaling at 1080p 50fps, although it looked a little blurry/shimmery. But if you’re just looking to jump into multiplayer PC gaming with some friends and can’t buy a GPU right now, this is an excellent option. I recommend at least 32GB RAM if you want to play games since the integrated GPU shares the system memory. Minecraft with shaders, 10 browser tabs, and discord were using about 28GB for me.

Fantastic performance and way better than expected gaming
Used this CPU in a few builds. The users are surprised of the performance every time.Pro 1: Extremely high cost/value ratio even at its initial higher listing price. Now prices have came down (at the time of this review) makes it even better.Pro 1: Paired with 6000 DDR5 this CPU shows its performance. There is a noticeable difference in response and snappiness in the OS and applications over the 5600G and 3200 DDR4.Pro 2: The gaming is 100% enjoyable with moderate settings at 1080. Anyone getting to gaming on a budget should be satisfied with what this little sucker can do.Con: Bad IHS design with many gaps for TIM to get suck in and it has.Pro Tip: Like all new CPU’s on the market you’ll most likely have to flash the BIOS of the new motherboard you are buying. You’ll need a donor CPU to flash if the board you choose don’t have something like Gigabytes Q-Flash capabilities, so be prepared.Would I buy it again? Yes.

Exceptional performance from an APU
For the price this APU is incredible, it ran even triple a games well at low settings (with FSR occasionally being needed) and ran esport games like valorant, Fortnite, and CS2 really well at 1080p. Overall great option for a “game tomorrow” machine because of the graphics performance, flexibility for upgrades because of the AM5 platform, and ability to add mid-high end graphics cards in the future when it fits your budget.

Value processor for entry into AM5
Good bargain proposition for AM5. If you're looking to get into the platform, and you can deal with the reduced PCI-E lanes, this is a good place to start. This is a better value proposition than the 8700G, and the max power consumption I noted was about 84W. That's pretty decent if you're thinking about deploying this in a NAS or ProxMox, as you could use the 8-lanes in the first PCI-E slot for pass-through of an HBA and be on the races. Functionally, the unit is compatible with Windows, Linux Mint, Debian 13 just fine, and AMD drivers this generation have been solid. Cooling is easy because of light power draw (TDP)You may find better values in a chip/putting money toward a GPU, but good GPUs don't start until about $500 or so, so this isn't a bad place to start. Think about what you want to use it for - if it's high end gaming, do not start here. If it's virtualization, homelab, or NAS prospects, basic workstations with some light gaming on the side then the speed of this unit combined with cost makes it pretty attractive.

Great so far!
I finished building out a new home server using this CPU. Much faster than my old (6 year+) AMD Clawhammer ... I purchased a new MSI motherboard as well..This CPU includes a CPU fan as well.Because I am not a gamer - I needed a CPU with built in graphics until I decide whether to buy a dedicated GPU.. This is adequate for editing photos, videos and viewing PLEX and YouTube content.
