I used them for dinner as soon as I got them because our old ones were falling apart and hurt my hand to pinch them closed. I have carpal tunnel, so grip strength and repeated use can cause flare ups. Thankfully, these ones were very easy to pinch to use, and didn’t hurt my hands. Haven’t tried the smaller size, but the bigger size worked well. Felt good in the hand and picked up food easily to stir, toss, serve, and flip. The silicone tips are great because they match up together when closed and are flexible so they pick stuff up well. Easy to clean, too. Overall very pleased with these. Not sure I needed two of each size, but hey that’s a bonus. I will be getting a bigger one to add to this set (the long one from a well-known brand bc they’re the best), but I like having multiple sizes and these fit the bill! So glad I got them. Saved my hands a lot of pain and made dinner easier tonight.

I had high hopes for these tongs, but they're OK. The metal is pretty sturdy, but feels a bit thin for long-term durability. The tips are also a bit flimsy, but they'll work well for salad. I would use them more for bacon, but I don't expect them to hold up to something that thin and close to the pan.I have yet to try them in a heat setting, but I'm not holding my breath.

After attending a cooking class a few months ago, I got it into my head to get a pair of kitchen tongs, the kind with the silicon tips, to replace the long chopsticks I regularly use. Those cooking chopsticks cost me fifty cents many years ago and have served me well, so I hesitated to spend much on another gadget that would take up space in my little kitchen. When I ordered the set of kitchen tongs from Meciam, I did not have high expectations about the quality. After all, the set of four tongs (two 7” and two 9”) cost less than a single pair of brand name kitchen tongs. Boy oh boy, was I surprised when they arrived. The tongs are well made and have a very solid feel. Nothing cheap about them. A very good addition to my kitchen tool set.

The *only* drawback (personally) that I'm not in love with regarding these is that they come to suck a pinch when you close them. Minimal points of contact. So they work better for things like a salad. When you're trying to use them for flipping breaded chicken cutlets it's a little harder and the pinch pulls some of the breading off. Not then of the world. They work fine for all my stovetop cooking and serving too. The eyelet to hand them is nice. Easy to pop the end against my hip when I am cooking to open and they haven't gotten stuck.

I am very glad that I received these for review. It is a fabulous set of 4 pieces with 2 of each size. The sizes are perfect and the silicon handles are so easy to hold onto and it doesn't feel like they are going to slip from your hand. The locking feature is really cool, pull up or push down on the hanging loop to lock or unlock. The loop is nice to have as well in case you like to hang your utensils. These should last for some time to come and the price is excellent. I highly recommend these.

These tongs are well-made and sturdy. I like the two different sizes for cooking and for serving food. The silicone grips make them good for using on non-stick cookware. There is a locking mechanism on the end where you pull the ring and it locks or you push the ring to unlock it. They are easy to clean and dishwasher safe.

Standard tongs in red colors, come in two different sizes. My previous experience with these tongs is that they will last until the connecting pin on the top give out. They're ok otherwise and worth the price, until it's time to replace them.
