It's a swiss army knife of eating utensils. The spoon and the knife are on one handle while the fork is with the wine bottle opener and bottle opener. To separate the two halves, you need to extend the spoon and fork. Similarly, if you want to combine the two handles, you need them extended as well. The neck of the spoon and fork is used as a locking mechanism. Even at that, it seems like it'll serve its purpose well.I am worried about what happens after its used. I don't intend to use it around the house on the daily but I feel like food bits getting stuck in the nook and crannies of this would be a long term issue. Especially if you're camping, you may not be able to easily clean this product as you would if used at home. As it is now, it's great but only time will tell how this develops.
