Riptrail Multi-Purpose Outdoor Picnic Beach Blanket/Portable/Water-Resistant/Dust-Proof/6.5 feet x 4.5 feet by Outdoors

I got this for hiking with my dog with the idea of - it would be great as a sit down pad for him and I while we are hiking. The idea of this product is awesome - small, lightweight, lots of little loops, mini pockets. The actual functionality not so much.I used this for a short hike to the creek where it is a bit dusty/sandy. My dog was NOT wet when he sat on it but did have sandy/dirty paws. - nothing unusual for a dog hiking. The sandyish dirt would literally not come off no matter how hard I shook this thing or wiped it off. Even if a little blew on it, it was there for good. The side on the ground was even worse. I ended up folding it back in the bag (trashed, but as clean as I could get it while out on a hike) and washing it off with water when I got home. The material soaked the water up fairly quickly and became heavy for such a small piece of fabric and took almost an two hour. SUPER dust magnet and a handful to rinse off.After sitting on it for a no more than 15 minutes both the dog and I got off because it was SO HOT to sit on it. It made the back of my legs and butt feel soon sweaty.I will edit this post to add pictures when I get them form a friends phone. Definitely being returned

Waterproof but tabs to stake ripped off

My son took it backpacking and he said it worked great. He said he and a friend sat on it to eat. Great product.
