Review of a book
As always Shrilee McCoy writes a good story. At the first read this story is pretty good, but compared to the teaser, I thought it lacked something, although I can't say what since it was a good read. I was hoping that Willow would have come clean, to her family. Also on the second book, Brenna needed to do the same. Still a good read.Read the teaser for the next book only to find it not due to come out until February. Why the long waits. I had to wait a long time for this one and not a long wait for the next book.

Good read
Willow Lamont and Jax Gordon have more baggage from the past than most people. Willow has unhappily come home to assist her grandfather in running the family chocolate shop. Jax has returned to town as a deputy sheriff. Will their fears keep them apart? Will they be able, with God's help, the assist each other in overcoming their worst nightmares. I enjoyed this book but felt the ending was a bit abrupt and some issues not resolved.

Good grief, Ms McCoy
I'm giving this book a two star rating because this author does not know the grammatical rule for using 'bring and that'. Good grief, Ms McCoy, go back and reread this book - you bring things to and take things there. Your errors are so frequent and blatant it's painful. Also, this book is almost identical to the previous one with only name changes and a few additional events. Willow and Brenna both coerced to come home by grandfather, both swear they'll not stay, neither can master the family fudge recipe but are successful in making the rest of the chocolate candles, both find hunky guy to fall for - same story with just a few changes. Not a whole lot of imagination there. You write well with the exception of those glaring errors of your usage of bring and take. I happen to appreciate correct English, something I'm finding is not true with many authors any longer.

More bitter than sweet
I wanted to like this book, and parts of it were entertaining, but I found the characters excessively neurotic and repetitive. I also thought they were unnecessarily cruel to Phoebe when they refused to allow her to visit her child in the hospital. Working in a bakery and showing little to no interest in food is too weird for me. I could not relate to the characters so I will give this series a pass.

This book was good. So good that I am going to read the new books also I do wish the reviews of other books were not so long.

Very good read
It had my interest from the beginning. I had a very hard time putting it down. Leaves you hanging about the baby though.
