Game changer for laptop life. Even adheres to satin laptop covers which was what I was looking for. The quality of the build is amazing. I have 2, and it is the only way i've been able to mobile dev all sorts of things. Seriously a good buy, and I'd buy again, and recommend to any content nerd that has drives in specifically in the samsung T5/ T7, and SPECIFICALLY the SANDISK Professional 4TB PRO-G40 SSD - which are my highest capacity and hardest working drives (BTW WTF I just checked the price on those things????). Game changing tech to bring your junk with you.

This is one of those ridiculously simple products that makes you wonder why you didn’t buy it sooner. I use an external hard drive with my laptop regularly, and this little sleeve keeps it secure instead of letting it dangle around by the cable or slide across my desk like it has somewhere to be. It’s unobtrusive, easy to use, and makes my setup feel much tidier and more portable. Is it glamorous? No. Do I now find myself strangely enthusiastic about an adhesive hard-drive pocket? Apparently, yes. Five stars for solving a problem I didn’t realize was annoying me.

I have a drive that has a large amount of data (several terabytes) that I use when I am using my laptop. When I am out and about, I used to have the drive just sitting on the table. It regularly got in the way, and I was so worried about someone accidentally picking it up and damaging it. Now that I have this sleeve, I can put the drive in the pocket on my laptop. I got a short USB cable that fit from my port to the drive in the sleeve without extra slack. The sleeve works really well for this use. Now the drive sits safely on the laptop. It is just the right size for the smaller SSD drives that you can get for this use. It is really easy to slide the drive in and out of the sleeve. I can tell that this sleeve will last for a very long time. The nicest thing is that now I know the drive is protected from any spills or other issues at the table. It is also nice that I can simply close the laptop and put it in my bag and know that the drive is going into the bag. It gets rid of the possibility of accidently leaving my drive in the coffee shop.

Good quality and nature per solution to a lot of the others out there. The adhesive is absurdly strong, and once connected will not want to be removed so make sure you line it up properly. I will say that if you have any of the larger SSD’s, it will be a little bit difficult to insert them. Good for the price and very us

Great product overall. I haven't tried to move it, so I can't report on how reusable the adhesive actually is, but it definitely stays in place without any slippage. Fits my Samsung T7 SSD perfectly and holds it securely in place on the lid of my laptop. Because I use my SSD with multiple devices, I'm thinking of getting another Slipdrive for my tablet

Works exactly how it should and it definitely makes being mobile with my MacBook feel more secure. Some of my external SSDs don’t fit in it as well but not a dealer breaker really. Also it doesn’t look bad on my MacBook either which was a big concern for me. Materials are pretty high quality too.

I got this for my Samsung T9 drive and it fits nice and snug. Had to be very patient getting the 3M backing off to make sure I got the peel and didn't rip the whole thing off. Just try different corners. I also got a right-angle USB-C 6 inch cable for it that kept everything nice with very little cable hanging off the machine. Super convenient.

Why didn’t I order this sooner?! I used to plug my external drive in and occasionally it would get unplugged, causing the programs I was working in to crash—and even worse, sometimes my files would become corrupted. This sleeve works wonders! I can leave the drive plugged in, and since I bought a 3 inch cord, I don’t have to worry about a long cable dangling around. I can move my laptop from one room to another, open and close my laptop, and the drive stays securely in place and plugged in the entire time. Such a simple solution to a problem that was driving me crazy. Love it!

Luckily i bought 2. I ruined the first one right away as i tried to peel off the paper backing for the adhesive, but the whole sticky layer come out with it and now its unusable. Had to be super careful with the 2nd one and the paper back was extremely difficult to remove. Now im hoping it stays.
