Samsonite Virtuosa Hardside Expandable Luggage with Spinner Wheels

We bought two of these for a 10 day trip to Switzerland. We knew we would be taking the train a lot, so we needed suitcases that were easy to navigate in and out of train stations and also easy to fit in the overhead compartments on trains. The wheels roll smoothly and can be rolled upright or if you are in a hurry, you can lean it 45 degrees and pull it behind you.We packed three outfits plus cool weather items for early fall. It was nice to have one side be fully zipped closed and the other to have two tension straps to cinch things tight. The bag also has a bit of expansion if you need it. We didn't use it. We did check the bags on the plane since our tickets had free baggage and they held up well to the airline luggage handler abuse.There is a small yet long zippered compartment in one side along the hinge that can be used for power cables, an air-tag, etc.We liked the suitcases so much we took another 10 day trip in March with even warmer clothes and we still had plenty of room. Of course we also had small backpacks with daily essentials, i.e. jacket, meds and electronics.The color is nice - we chose blue for both. Weight wise, they were pretty light and much less expensive than the hyped up ones from Away.We would definitely recommend this.

Great size case, however, 1yr of travelling and the wheels broke already

This is the best carry on I've used in the past decade. It is very light. But be cautious it is over the carry on luggage dimensions for most European airlines.
