Stylish set of bathroom scales, with readings in kilograms, pounds or stones and pounds.They arrived in a nice box, certainly gave a good impression that these were more than the £10.99 price tag.Unpacking gives the scales and instructions, but unfortunately no batteries. These require 2xAAA batteries, fortunately I keep lots of alkaline batteries in stock, so not too much of an issue for me. For someone that doesn't realise, it will be frustrating not being able to use them straight away.I compared these to my current Salter scales. The readings for both units were very similar - within half a pound or half a kilogram of each other. These seem a little more sensitive to the floor surface than my Salter ones, with a vinyl floor covering giving slightly variable results, but no issues on wood flooring. I assume it is to do with how they sense the weight - these have four circular feet, my salter scales have a large square metal cover.The display is easy to read, being large and free of distracting symbols, etc. Not sure how long the glass will stay clean without becoming a smeary with use and cleaning - only time will tell.I can recommend these to anyone looking for a stylish and accurate set of bathroom scales. Just remember you'll need 2xAAA batteries to use them!

First and foremost I received a concession to purchase this item in exchange for an honest review.It's really quite difficult to write a lengthy review for a set of scales, because it really only comes down to one thing - do they accurately measure your weight?In this case, kind of. Using a more expensive set of mechanical scales I know to be correct, they more often than not tended to give a less than accurate result. If I wanted to measure my weight accurately would I have purchased these? No. Should you purchase them? Probably not, no. Go for a known brand like Salter, if you're trying to lose or gain weight the smallest of margin can make a difference.However, if you're a casual user who wants something pretty to go in your bathroom, spend away.

Pretty standard bathroom scales, you have to be a little careful to make sure the surface is sturdy and flat but other than that these are as good as any other bathroom scales.I always make sure to step on to them two or three times as the first attempt can often be slightly off as it is calibrating.The glass finish looks really smart and makes them more discrete in the bathroom. had these scales for about 5 months now and they get used maybe 3/4 times per week and the battery is still going strong.

I already had some bathroom scales but they weren’t working very well so I thought these would be a good replacement.The scales come in an attractive black box, with a warranty card and user manual. The scales are quite heavy and sturdy which is good. They require two AAA batteries (not included) and the unit can be set (e.g., kg, lbs, stones) by pressing the “unit” button on the back.Ensure you place the scales on a flat surface for an accurate reading. Get on the scales and stand still while it takes the reading. If you want to measure again then just simply get off the scale and step on again. The scale will turn itself off after a short time. When the batteries are running low this will be displayed on the LCD screen as “lo”, which is helpful as you’re not going to be caught out with the batteries running out!I like the design of the scales. They look modern without being “fussy” and they’re good value for money. Very pleased.

Fantastic quality, the glass panel has a modern look and feel and the build is solid.It is very easy to switch on (unlike other scales which you had to step on once first to activate), you just step on it and wait for the result. The glass panel is responsive and turns on automatically, The result comes in a few seconds and flashes. The LED is easy to see when standing. It automatically shuts off as well and saves battery.The weight is accurate to 0.1 digit and gives consistent results when tested multiple times. A reliable scale. It takes 2 AAA batteries and you can change between kg and lb/lb+stone mode (default is kg), comes with extended warranty when you register with them. Note that the scale has to be activated by human feet, it wouldn't work if you use it to weigh a pet and it has a minimum weight of 5kg.Overall a beautiful scale and great quality. I would recommend getting it at this price.

I cannot really verify the accuracy of these scales but I am definitely lighter than I was when I bought them and that's good enough for me! Battery life is not amazing though.

Really nice product which I am liking and glad to have purchased.Pro's: - Simplistic design. - Instant weighing. - Has 3 modes (Pounds [lb], Kilograms [kg] and Stones [St]. This can be changed by pressing a button on the back of the scale.Con's - Seems like it could break due to being made out of glass - Absolutely has to be on a hard and flat surface, Tested this on carpet and apparently I was only around 30% of what I currently weigh. - Sometimes doesn't register when you stand on it. Had to step off and on a few times for it to register the weight. - Sometimes starts to weigh the person but then turns itself off before confirming the weight as it is meant to flash twice.Overall I think this is a really well-designed product which seems to work just fine provided it is used on the correct surface.
