Amazing quality shears
As a professional groomer who's had iffy luck with the well known more expensive brands, this seller makes shears that are actually affordable and I would argue have as good if not better quality craftsmanship. Will be buying more soon!

I am not a groomer
These are my first good pair of dog shears. I have two standard poodles which is why I decided to go with the curved. It really helped me to get a nice shape on their heads. It also helped me get a nice shape on the one pups undocked tail. The weight seems nice, the finger holes are not too big or too small. I did need oil it because it squeeked when used but other than that I would buy more from this brand.

Makes Grooming Easier
We have a long hair cat that requires constant maintenance of her coat, which sometimes includes trimming her ruff and facial fur with scissors. Her fur is very soft, which seems to pose a problem for cheaper (sub-20 dollar) shears. These curved shears from Fenice Totem appear to be a good example of, "you get what you pay for."The shears are nice and sharp, and easily make cuts that others we've tried struggle with or can't handle at all. They make grooming more efficient and are less stressful for our cat, since we don't have to try to make the same cut over and over; the curve further speeds up the process by helping to achieve the desired shape with less cuts. As an added bonus, I find that by using the shears upside-down (by pointing the curve away from the cat), I can cut small mats close to the skin and eliminate the chance of stabbing her with the pointed end if she flinches. I'll note that I do mean *small* mats, as using them on large mats is probably a surefire way to trash their sharp edge.Fenice clearly markets these for use with dogs, and I can't recommend them for use with "all cats" given their largely uncooperative nature and famously-thin skin. They're working very well for us because our cat hates clippers but is indifferent toward shears; before you buy, I recommend you consider the personality of your feline friend.

Good Shears
These shears are great for the price point. They seem to be well made and get the job done. They could be sharper but that's nothing a good sharpening won't fix. They're great backup shears or would be great for starter shears.

Perfect for Pet Grooming Tasks
I'm thrilled with these grooming shears! After investing in straight scissors previously, I found them awkward and not ideal for grooming my pup. But these curved shears are a game-changer.The curve makes them incredibly helpful for attending to grooming tasks, as dogs aren't straight but rather round. They're sharp and efficient, making grooming tasks much easier and quicker. While I usually rely on a professional groomer for most of my pup's grooming needs, these shears are perfect for those little touch-ups. I recently trimmed my pup's tail, and what would have taken several snips with straight scissors was done in just 1-2 with these. The 6.5" size is perfect for my needs, and the included leather-like case and polishing cloth are nice touches. Personally, I could do without the glittery blue fake gem on top, but it might appeal to those with more cutesy dogs.Overall, these are high-quality grooming shears that I highly recommend. They've made grooming tasks much more manageable and efficient. A must-have for any pet owner!

Good, sharp, love the curve - just what I needed
These are nice grooming shears. I paid a lot for other dog shears a while ago and they were like straight scissors and a bit awkward for some uses, so I had to be extra careful. The curve of these makes them especially helpful since, let’s face it, dogs are round not straight, and it makes it much easier to attend to what grooming issues you have. And they are nicely sharp. Now, I usually get my pup groomed at a professional groomer, but there are little things here and there that I want to attend to, and the 6.5” version of these is perfect for those tasks. I just trimmed his tail, in fact, and what might have taken several snips to get the curve was done in 1-2.These comes in a leather-like case, which is nice, and with a polishing cloth. I don’t personally need the glittery blue fake-gem on the top. It’s a bit chintzy for me, but I can live with it, and I can bet how it might appeal to those people who have cutesy dogs with bows, etc. These are high-quality grooming shears and I recommend them.
