Fun and more useful way to dry fire practice. Note: I am a hammer fired gun guy. I haven't tried it with a striker fired gun. Great practice for double action triggers, but then when I want to feel better about my performance, I manually cock the hammer... Accurate! I used it to dial in a red dot on my Beretta 92x RDO. Worked very well. Only negative... the targets should be included and/or more clear which one is for which app. Its on me, I am sure a little research will clear this up, but why make your customers dig to figure it out?

Ammo is now expensive!!This product will help keep your skills sharp and on a budget cause you are not sending hot lead and your hard earned money down range.Comes in a carrying case, maybe to protect it but for me, more so that I don’t lose the lil guy when I’m not using it.I prefer to use it for speed drills. Draw from holster and a single shot. Then keep gun pointed on target for a few seconds after.You have to rack the slide between trigger pulls.Inconvenient and annoying. However my deeper issue is that I don’t want to develop muscle memory, a habit that after every fire I rack the slide. You may have a different opinion.I also use it to train new gun users prior to hitting the live range. We work on sight alignment and trigger pull. I do this cause it’s easier to communicate with out live fire and ear protection.Over all, it does what it’s supposed to do.I would highly recommend

The app has some flaws. After an extended use, it'll start to miss shots so you have to restart and recalibrate the timer. Other than that it works great! I use it 3-4 times a week for about 10 minutes and I already notice improved shot times and accuracy.

This is a great product! It performed exactly as described. I purchased the 9mm laser cartridge only, not the kit. Some type of tripod and phone holder is helpful for easy set-up. I printed the free targets from the website. The accuracy seems very good. I set the targets up in my basement which allow me distances between 5 - 10 yards. No problem at that range. The app is easy to use. I would recommend the $4.99 in-app upgrade to unlimited shots to minimize running back to your phone. The laser hit on the target also provides immediate visual feedback. The laser stays on long enough so you can tell if it's a clean hit (dot) or if you are pulling the shot (line). I've used it with a Ruger Max-9 and Glock 19 Gen 5 and both performed as expected. As a novice, this is a great tool to build muscle memory and gain repetition in the comfort of your own home. It provides more feedback and is more fun than just dry fire exercises. I am anxious to see how this will improve my performance at the range.

The system itself is fantastic. A few bucks makes the app significantly more useful, and the laser detection is quite good. Having used my GSight system for almost a year now (at least half an hour a week), my laser emitter stopped working entirely. At first I assumed it was battery related. Replaced batteries, and nothing. Then I thought the o-rings might be slipping. Replaced those, and nothing. I’ve been trying to manually ‘fire’ the laser by pressing the striker-button (which has always worked in the past), nothing. I have since tried to get in touch with the company, and have received no response.Update: I was contacted by the manufacturer, and have been using me replacing ever since. Review is now 5star

I saw this advertised online and did a little research and checked reviews which were generally positive so I took the chance and ordered both the 9mm and .45 versions.Both products arrived quickly and with out issue. A few pointers:These are not Inert dry fire cartridges so don't go around cycling the action like you normally would. Pull the slide and slowly let the slide back into battery.Likewise, don't load them into a magazine and rack the slide. Manually insert them into the chamber. You may need a pencil to gently push them back out as the fit is snug.My set came with the batteries installed along with a spare set. Additionally, mine had a small plastic disc between the batteries and the negative contact to prevent accidental activation. Make sure to remove it (sounds silly, I know).The android app setup without issue. I printed a simple bulls eye paper target and taped it to the wall about 10 feet from me. The app picked it up with any problems. It seems to accurately capture where your laser shot appeared. Every once in a while, I did a deliberate flyer and put one out in the nine or ten ring and the app picked it right up.I haven't purchased any of the additional items in the app, just used the "test" level, which worked fine.Overall, I'm pleased with this device.
