CuberShop GAN Mirror M Red UV Coated Speed Cube, 2024 New Version, Chinese New Year Special Red Version, 3x3 Magnetic Puzzle

This cube is very unique but super fun 3x3. Was a great addition to my sons collection

First a note about QA and the product description's claim of "stickerless": It's not true, this cube obviously has glittery stickers on it or it wouldn't be glittery. And after the stickers are applied, there's a UV coating over the top that should protect those stickers and make the cube both shinier and grippier in the hands.Someone else had stickers that didn't stay in place for the UV coating process. Someone in QA should've caught that! Expect Amazon or GAN to take care of a problem like that! Mine had nothing like that, the stickers are all very precisely where they should be and because of the coating I couldn't feel the sticker edges. That's what you want!(It did have a minor blemish in the UV coating on the "yellow" side, but I can touch that up myself.This is a very cool cube! It comes a bit tighter than you'd expect for a speedcube and the magnets hold the alignment very nicely. It's very smooth, but also very dry. Some silicone lube would make it feel even more smooth and less frictiony, but I don't think I want to loosen it up to give it a whole lot of speed because for me speed is not what this cube is for.What's great about this cube is that it forces you to think about how the pieces fit and move. I wouldn't say it's ideal for an absolute beginner, but there's a point where you know what the basic algorithms are but you still make mistakes in execution… try a mirror cube, it will make you think about how to move this piece to there and avoid "undoing" things you already solved in the process. And that will increase your accuracy.Plus it's incredibly cool that the entire thing can be solved by touch alone. Especially cool given that I'm legally blind. Yes, I have enough vision to solve by color especially if there's good contrast between the colors, but the mirror cube was designed with me in mind, and that's kinda cool.What I can tell you is that any cuber is going to love to own a mirror cube, and a magnetic and UV coated mirror cube is just gonna feel so nice. Just maybe look it over before you present it to them so that if something went wrong with the stickering/UV coat process, you can get it taken care of before you gift it. Oh, but open carefully though because you'll want to put it back the way it was. Unboxing this thing was a pleasure in itself, the packaging is very elegant.Definitely gift-worthy!

Love this! Bought one last year, and my daughter claimed it. So buying a second one for myself! Adds a different dimension to solving the cube that feels fresh and fun again. Also great texture and aesthetic

It's mathematically the same as an ordinary Rubik's cube. Smooth movement. I was glad to notice that it can be done by touch alone, which is an interesting experience !

GAN is my sons preferred brand of cube and his collection is getting harder and harder to add to. Thanks GAN for keeping it interesting!

Would it be too much to ask for a mirror cube to have "real cube feel", instead of having cylindrical centers and a weird feel to them? I seem to prefer my original mirror cube (non magnetic) Vs this one one, pure aesthetics and feel. I do not like the center pieces, other than that, its a good cube.
