Easy to assemble, i did need to get help mounting them on the wall and he was able to do it with his power tools. There weren't pre drilled holes for the brackets and the piece with the bridge can not be reversed so just keep that in mind if you have a vision on how you want them set up.

I'm only giving it 2 stars instead of 1 because my handy skills aren't the best so it may have been user error, but I have assembled similar things to walls the same way and haven't had an issue that compromised security. When I put this up it wasn't secure at all and I had to take it down otherwise it would've fallen down in a day or two with kitty use. But the quality isn't good, put minimal weight on it and the wood started cracking. Directions were very clear either
