Wow!!!
What tha HECK??!! All I can say is.... Wow!!! This story was very well written. The Dexter Divas definitely had drama in their lives but the one thing that kept them going was their faith. Cookie, Victoria, Mya and Lola had a sisterly bond between them that I'm sure most people envy. I'm not gonna speak much on the events of this story because you have to just read this one for yourself. All I'm gonna say is just prepare yourself because the ending will blow you away.

Riveting! Mesmerizing! Great 1st Novel!
Miscellaneous Blues is simply breathtaking as it allows the reader to actually relate to what is being read. The Dexter Diva's are examples of every type of woman and I think we each have some of the traits of each of the Divas within us, as women. Erica L. Crump has done an excellent job in keeping my attention from page one. I laughed. I cried. I oohed. I ahhed. I became angry and I just felt every emotion and this novel really has peaked my anticipation for part two! Mya's hatred and animosity for Lola for me paralleled our own relationships not only with our biological sisters, but also with our sisters in Christ. There is so much hate where there should be love. This novel has opened my eyes to a lot and I love how Ms. Crump used the spiritual background that she has as the background for the Dexter Divas. May the blessings and favor of God be upon you Ms. Crump as you write the sequel! Happy Reading to all!

I need Part 2 now!!!
If anyone has read any of my reviews, then you know I give it to you straight with no chasers. With that said, this book is very good. I loved the way the sisters stuck together, and was there for each other. It is a modern day "Waiting to Exhale". The book held my attention from page 1 and had me sorry to have to put it down. I read this book in 24 hours. The ending had my mouth open (can't tell you how it ended, but just know I was like NOOOOOO!!!!..LOL). I need part 2 ASAP. The author has discussion questions at the end of the book and one of the questions is: Should there be a part 2??? My answer (I hope the author reads the reviews on Amazon) is YES!!!! YES!!! and in case I didnt make it clear, YES!!! I do hope Ms. Crump is working on the second part because I for one will be looking for it.

Page Turner
For a debut novel, I was throughly impressed! I was so into this book that I finished it in 48 hours! The characters have a certain realness about them that they could have easily been my sisters, or aunts, or my friends. Exactly what I wanted to read. The writer did a wonderful job dealing with real life, 2012 problems. I have recommend this novel to all of my friends and family, and to you as well!I'm anxiously awaiting the sequel, and have my own ideas as to who should play who in "Misc. Blues" the movie.

Disappointment!!!!!
Storyline not strong. Should have more character development. Does not warrant a sequel. Will not purchase sequel. Wording and misspelled words throughout. Very disappointed

Sisterly Love
This is one of the best books I've read this year. I read a lot, so that's saying a lot about Miscellaneous Blues. I loved the bond between the sisters & their families. Even though I sister didn't come around as much, but she was still showed the same amount of love and attention. The ending left you thinking that a sequel would or should be written. And a couple of secrets that one of the sisters is keeping.Over all I enjoyed reading about the Dexter Divas.

Dexter Divas
This book was awesome. Their were times I wanted to laugh and others where I found myself wanting to cry. It was an awesome read for this first time author and I can't wait to read what's next from her. The ending of this book let me know that there will be a sequel and I'm on pins and needles to read it. Oh yeah!! As soon as the second book comes out, I'm getting it

Excellent!
Ok, so what was I thinking when I read the summary about this book? Not what I read. I read this in one day, it was so good. I'm hoping there is more about these sisters, Cookie, Victoria, Mya, and Lola, in the future. This is a real page turner; kept me on my toes and as I read I became a part of the story. For a first novel, Ms. Crump has me ready for more!
