Colonel Blades makes legit products!
Ok. First off, I'm not affiliated with this company in any way other than my product order. Now, let's get down to business. I ordered the NCO Lowvz blade w/sheath, Trainer, and Tactical Pen kit. I expected to receive just that. Instead, I received SO MUCH more! This blade design is obviously born from experience being caught in bad situations. That being said, the design is ergonomic and the blade has, in my opinion, a perfect amount of heft. The design is ideal for shooters and requires minimal boxing skill for effective use of this blade. Mine came paper-shaving sharp right out of the box. The sheath is of minimalist design and rides comfortably inside the waistband (IWB). I enjoy food and adult beverages (a lot!), and this poses no problem for me when i appendix carry this blade IWB. Deployment is intuitive and the included Trainer is great for brushing up the skills! Now for the SO MUCH more than I expected! The kit I ordered was to include the NCO Blade and sheath, Trainer, and Tactical pen. In addition to my expected order, ColonelBlades included a fully-functional polymer version of the Lowvz and a kydex sheath. This is perfect for self preservation in more secured settings! ColonelBlades earned themselves a loyal, repeat customer with this one! If you're considering this as an EDC, do it! I did! 👍👍

A FREAKING FANTASTIC KNIFE!!!!
This is a freaking amazing knife! There are dozens of reasons why this is a freaking fantastic knife but I'll keep it simple. It is a stout blade, it also came hair shaving sharp. The sheath is awesome, it is adjustable for retention. The trainer is great, it doesn't fit into the sheath, so you'll have to practice drawing the knife with the actual knife. The handle is extremely ergonomic, and is extremely well thought out. Lastly, the only con about the package i's the IWB belt clip. It only has one attachment point, so it kinda pivots a bit in your pants. All in all, a fantastic knife and I recommend making this a part of your EDC!

Excellent EDC knife!!
Great EDC knife to keep on you for self defense or opening Amazon boxes lol! It’s very easy to use and it’s design makes it very hard to hurt yourself. If you can throw a pinch you can use this knife. The knife is definitely high quality steel and feels great in your hand. The handle is very ergonomic for my hands. The holster holds the knife very securely and can be placed on your belt, inside your pants, and can be looped into molle loops very easily. The only drawback of this is that when placed in the pants it does have an appearance of a pistol. If you live in a state where CC is allowed I wouldn’t worry to much about it but if not be cautious of how visible this is.

Great knife, except...
Indeed, it is a great knife... good metal, great design. But I have to say it was a bit too small for my hand...so i gave it to my wife and i'm saving up for the larger full bird. However, for those who wear knives alot, a smaller size might be more comfortable. Also the trainer is useless to me.Hmmm, and the holster didn't come with a clip when I bought it... which it does at their online store.Update: I now have the full bird. Indeed, it fits my hand better... its clip is better too. Plus, the tactical pen that came with it is quite nice.

A knife designed for concealed carry
The NCO is well built and fits the hand well. There are a few things I would like to see them consider changing.1.) The knife handle scale checkering. The finger hole in the blade provides a firm grip on the knife without the need for the aggressive checkering on the scales. The checkering is uncomfortable when the knife is concealed in a waistband. If they could offer smooth scales or a smooth scale on one side that would be great.2.) The clip on the knife sheath is a bad design. The clip has a "shark fin" in the middle of it, that needs to be eliminated from the design. On a gun belt the clip can't bite into the belt material enough to fully clip around the bottom of the belt. This can cause the knife to pull the sheath out with it when you draw the knife. I replaced the clip with a non-shark fin type and have never had a problem with getting the knife to draw from the sheath again.

A true defensive fighting knife
This knife is sturdy and comfortable to hold and use. It's not a utility knife or a pocket knife, if that's what you want then this probably isn't for you. This is rugged self defense. The handle feels great and the angle is perfect for strikes and the ring is perfect for retention. It's full Tang and heavy duty so you know it won't break or bend when you need it. Good size too. I can't always carry a gun but this is the next best thing. Awesome knife! Will be gifting to friends and family and recommending to everyone!

Interesting Design, But....
The Colonel Blades NCO Lowvz is an interesting blade for what it's intended purpose is. But, I can't get comfortable when sitting. When it was isw appendix the sheath cuts into my groin and hip flexor when sitting. I then switched it to my hip to avoid pinching the handle was pushing my shirt out and printing. So, when I watched the videos online all they discuss is the performance of the knife, which is great and they show it on a belt while standing which is great, but they don't show someone trying to get in and out of a car door or sitting. Also the plastic clip broke while i was getting in my car. So, I've purchased two metal sheath clips and mounted the knife on the inside of my car door. I Didn't want the knife to go to waist (no pun intended).

Great defensive knife
Great defensive weapon. Feels very sturdy as is also easy to pocket carry in the sheath. Sheath is great and has very good retention.. does not feel cheap. The entire kit is amazing and even the tactical pen included is very high quality as well. Overall I would highly recommend colonel blades. I have also purchased the NoVz and comes with a great actual kydex sheath and the blade has upgraded G10 scales. Overall these knives are great EDC tools and I highly recommend them!
