When my builders quality kitchen faucet finally went bad I searched for days for a replacement faucet.I ordered two of the well known US brands and was dissatisfied with the quality of the materials they were constructed of. Both major brands used flimsy plastic parts and contained very little brass components. I found the removable spray heads were all plastic and the coloring did not properly match the stainless facet neck and appeared to be a painted finish which probably would not last. Seeing this I returned these two still in their boxes and after reviewing other listings I came across the Lava Odoro Montelux Brushed Nickel Kitchen Faucet. The company makes a quality faucet with heavy duty brass components using plastics only where necessary. The spray mode utilizes a very fine low water volume spray which reduces splashing and conserves water and the Power Sweep mode gives you the ability to thoroughly clean even with low water pressure. Another great feature is when you turn off the water using the mixing lever and it is in the No-Splash spray mode, it will return automatically to the single stream Airated flow ready for your next use.The water selection buttons on the spray head assembly are designed so that minimal pressure is necessary to activate them, you can switch between the two most used modes without having to hold the sprayer assembly in hand while pressing the button, just a quick bump with you hand switches between the two modes. Another great feature usually only found in high priced faucets is the Magnetic Docking Spray Head which returns the spray head when released using magnets in addition to the counter weight on the hose under the sink. Another great feature which is standard with the Lava Odoro Magnetic Docking Spray Head is that the spray head can be returned when released to face the control buttons in any direction (360 degrees) allowing you to face the buttons toward or away from view.The installation was easy and non-complicated unlike the two facets I returned, you simply pass the hoses through the counter mounting hole, thread on the washer and retaining brass nut, tighten the philips screws locking it in place, install the auto return counter weight and connect the quick connect hose and two water supply lines to complete the installation. One very important feature of this faucet is that the temperature water control lever goes toward you to activate which is a must if your back splash is close to the faucet and does not allow it to activate away from you.I was pleasantly surprised by the accrual weight of the facet assembly which is mostly comprised of brass components (not plastic) which gave it a quality feel. The box includes all the components you will need for installation of both single and three hole mounting, the water supply lines are 27.6 inches long usually long enough for most installations, but in my case the plumber had the shut off valves to far away to directly connect the lines so I went to my local Big Box store and purchased two male to female flex extensions for a quick fix. Lava Odoro offers seven different color styles and we chose the brushed nickel to complement our stainless steel appliances in the kitchen.Both my wife and I are truly satisfied with our selection and love the appearance and features of the new faucet. This faucet is competitive with the best in market, but at a fraction of the price. It works perfectly--the water pressure is good, the spray nozzle snaps into the faucet very nicely, and it delivers a robust spray. It is very good looking and it was easy to install. If there was any criticism it is that the on/off handle position in up is cold, and down is hot, opposite of what I would normally expect. We are quickly used to it, but if it's a problem for others you can simply switch the hot/cold connections below the sink.

My traditional / transitional self, was having a hard time with all the stainless steel & bright silver= not brushed in my new construction townhome. I incorporated soft gold pulls & this black / soft gold faucet to my delight. Seems to work perfectly, as it is brand new. Feels like quality.

I bought this product because my wife wanted a new kitchen faucet. I wasn't to happy about the lag time in it getting here but it came in about 10 days so I got to work installing it for her. Once installed she was happy until she discovered the hot water wasn't working. I checked hot and cold water hoses; they were turned on and connected properly. Next I disconnected the hot water hose to make sure water was coming out of the inlet and it was so I consulted the troubleshooting guide. It said that sometimes the hoses can get kinked during installation. That didn't make much sense to me but I uninstalled the whole thing and checked everything for problems. Finding none, I reinstalled the faucet but still no hot water. I asked my wife if she could live with the cold water for a couple of days while I get with the company to resolve the issue. She said yes. Well before I could contact the company she was working in the kitchen and left the water running with the handle set on the cold water. The water got hot! Long story short- who would think that a new faucet would come from the manufacturer with the hot/cold water hoses reversed. Now I have the cold hose connected the the hot inlet and the faucet works just fine. Buyer be advised!

This is so much better than I thought it would be considering the price was so competitive. Super easy to install, and the nozzle with 3 options for spray, pour, clean have made dishwashing so much easier. The brushed brass finish really elevates our space. Highly recommend.
