This embroidered lace mantilla veil by Bodizol is just beautiful. The lace is such a lovely pattern, with a delicate pattern of interlocked flowers all over it, and it feels fairly soft rather than rough like cheaper lace. The edging gives it some extra weight at the ends which makes it hang nicely.I actually ordered the champagne colour version, and was disappointed to find I’d received the black by mistake. (The Amazon label on the outside identifies it as champagne, so there's been a mix up somewhere.) I could send it back, but now I’ve seen this one on, it’s too lovely to part with!There’s a little hair grip to hold it into place if you need, and it also comes with a silver-grey gauze bag to store it in, which is a real bonus.Note it’s hand wash and air dry only - which is what you’d expect with lace like this. It would need low temperature iron, but mine arrived with no creases at all, and it hasn’t gathered any creases with use.It is presented in an amazing box, wrapped in a very special way. It would make an incredible gift, and not just for Catholic ladies to use at Mass, but for anyone, because it is so lovely and versatile. 5 stars from me.

I bought this scarf for my wife. She adored it. Lace is of incredible quality and has an excellent embassy. You can use it not only in church but also in informal events.It came in a wonderful box and carefully packaged. There is no problem with the seams. Quality fabric and very elegant. This is a beautiful netted headdress. Its smaller than I thought based on the picture but I honestly got it to use as a proper in my bookstagram. You wouldn't be able to wear it as well as in the picture

When this popped up on vine it reminded me of the exact one that my grand mother has in her wedding photos. I decided to grab to give to her as a little cherished gift as I know her one got lost during a house move. On arrival it is a very high quality item and work look amazing with most wedding dressing. It’s fits well on the head and is thick so does not look tacky. Works exactly as expected and would do a great job on a wedding day! When handing over to my grandmother you could see a tear in her eye, she absolutely loved it. Thank you so much :)

I am a practising Catholic and have several veils to wear to traditional services. It is customary for women to wear a black veil/mantilla in the Latin Mass. This mantilla is particularly beautiful and I am looking forward to wearing it.The lace is intricate and high quality. It is the perfect size to wear either loosely or tied gently around the neck.I once forgot to take any veils on a trip to Rome and had to buy one from a street vendor prior to entering the basilica. This particular veil would be perfect to take on such a trip and would almost certainly be much higher quality than any bought at the last minute!The veil is presented exquisitely in a presentation box containing both a small clip to attach the veil to one’s hair and a pouch in which to carry it in one’s bag, to protect it from getting snagged. It would therefore be a perfect gift for a Catholic woman who attends the traditional Mass.The veil would also be suitable worn as a shawl with an evening dress or to attend a funeral.

This feels flimsy and I consider it overpriced for what it is.

Nice stiching and design. Sheer and soft to touch. Used when going to church. Keeps your eyes straight onto the altar & avoids distractions. Love the feel of it on the head.
