Finally free from rebuilding crap overpriced nicad batteries! I have a full set of great 24v tools that I've had for years and have worked great, when the batteries worked that is. Now I can finally get cheap replacement lithium batteries that hopefully last longer than the nicad both in use and longevity. I just had to remove the little bump at the top of the adapter to make it fit into the 24v tools, that's the only little annoyance with this adapter. As soon as that was removed in two seconds with some pliers and a file it worked great with all my tools.

Good battery, half the price of Ego so can't complain there. I did notice that my Ego battery, once reaching 100% on the fast charger would stop charging (e.g., the lights would go off and the cooling fan stops). However, this Gerit battery might not have the circuitry to signal it is fully charged so the battery charger will keep going indefinitely. No other problems with this battery but I do keep an eye on the charging time.

Got one of these to replace a comparable EGo that died after five years. First one ran out of charge in about 3/4 of the expected time. Exchanged it and the new one lasts longer than the old one ever did. It also doesn’t need to shift the motor into high rpm nearly as often as the original EGo. Cost was about 70% of the identical EGo.

I used this to adapt B&D 20V batteries for 18V B&D tools. It works well. The tools run on the 20V batteries and they are much lighter.

Tried multiple pairs of these in my snowblower - all fried within minutes of use. May work on on lower demand tools like string trimmers, but definitely not in the snow blowers

There's really nothing bad to say about it. It's worth the money and it makes old Nihm and Ni-cd tool's lithium without rigging it yourself like I did before I bought this. I been running a lithium battery with my B @D Fire Storm circular saw with a old Lithium B@D weed eater that went bad by cutting the battery adapter off of it and converting it to the fire storm . It worked Great bit this is much easier. I run Lithium and my Nihm batteries now but nothing is like a Lithium battery. It last alot longer and you get more power. Buy it you won't regret it. If your tool still works and work's well there's no need to replace it.

It runs the EGO tools fine. It seems to never stop charging in the charger, though, so you have to watch it. I've tilled and tilled and tilled with it and it works great.

Would never buy this again.
