Shine SS_eXT_BK Black 2m 5 Way Gang Switched Surge Protected Extension Lead With LED Indicators

Needed a more accessible way to switch monitors and device off whilst also used by different people to plug in laptops. This 5 way adapter is ideal. Decent price at the time compared to others and with the integrated lamps per plug, able to see what is on or off at a glance. Also fitted onto desk and not had any issues with the buttons or power through the adapter. All in all a working piece of equipment and hopefully not have to worry about surge protection....so cannot say if this works yet.....and hopefully don't have to.

I did see one or two comments on here before buying this item saying that it did not work when attempting to plug in appliances but I thought i'd give the benefit of the doubt and make the purchase which I now sorely regret. This is a poor quality product and does not meet the required standards for UK plugs. NOT HAPPY.

So far so good!I really like the design and individual switches.Did not take it apart to check if it is actually Surge Protected, but it still works great and nothing is burning.

Seems to be holding up ok after a couple of months. But there's no indicator lights to show the status of the surge-protection circuit. These circuits do not last so it's important to know when it has blown.

Sorry but I brought this in September and blown in February with a flame so not sure about what the seller promises about the item.

Good quality item and easy to use. It’s great having the separate,individual switches which are illuminated when switched on, making it easy to see which appliances are either on or off.

This feels like a well made extension lead. Love the fact that each socket has its own on/off switch and light. Just what I was looking for. Really pleased.

Arrived promptly and so far works fine. I ordered these because I was so pleased with the six way one ordered previously. The only thing that I am not sure about is how the surge protection works. However, bearing in mind the price if it works once and saves my computer it will be worth it.
