Made for 1 to 2 servings
Works good for making one to two serving, the cutting bowl isn't that big to hold a half head of lettuce and a bunch of vegie's. You have to use your head to how much you put in the cutting bowl, but it dose work well for what it's intended for. Or you can do your greens first, then the vegie's, and putting all in a big bowl to serve more people.

Salad Too Small? Here's Some Tips
So I noticed in many of the reviews before I bought this that the complaint that was most common was that the salads it makes are too small. I'm 6'3", 250 lbs, and I didn't find this to be the case. Instead, I usually need to take a few minutes before coming back and finishing the rest.HOWEVER, let me note that I think those that are writing that the sales are too small are likely, in my opinion, improperly using it. From my viewpoint, anything that is already slicked or diced shouldn't be added to the bowl for cutting, as that is quite redundant. Instead, add what you want to cut such as your leafy base, apples, bananas, bell peppers, meats, or other items that need cutting. Once everything is cut, you can add other things that don't need cutting like sliced jalapeños, diced pineapple, corn, and the like.ALSO, if you've not bought this yet, please be aware that the "60-second" timeframe is only the timeframe for maybe throwing everything you're cutting into the bowl and doing the cutting. You may have to pre-cut or peel items like bell peppers and oranges before throwing them in there for cutting, unless you are willing to eat the pepper seeds and the orange peel. One thing I found while doing my cutting is that it's easiest to spin the thing around when halfway through a row of cuts, and that you can hold down and move the top left or right to get it to rotate, as the two parts are designed to do that, which prevents any need to separate the parts and potentially create a mess. Finally, in case you're like me and don’t already have a full kitchen set, make sure you have the proper bowl or dish you want to eat out of as well as a proper chef's knife before getting this or you'll need to run out and get one or both to use this. I didn't have a chef's knife and so I had to run out and get one,

all sides do not fit in groove
not all sides will fit in groove. have to hold it when I turn the top or salad falls out. I tried bending it to fit but that didn't work. disappointed in this product.

make salads fast
I really love this thing. It does serve up to 3 or 4 people, and cleaning is just so easy. Maybe not 60 seconds to chop, but pretty darn close. Its too easy, you just toss everything you and to cut or chop, into the bowl with the ridges or grates, then but the plastic plate on top and flip it onto a table so the bowl faces up. Then you just use a longer knife and cut things through every grate, and then pick up the bowl and turn it to any side, just a little, and repeat the cutting. And like magic, you have your salad ready! this made me want to make salads daily, because its just so much fun to use.Easy to clean as well... maybe not an indispensable thing for survival but the easier it makes your life is worth the money.

Very useful
I like this product very much. Dr.'s Greger and Furhman encourage finely chopped vegetables to increase the absorption of the nutrients. The food processor just turns lettuce to mush. So although this is not as easy as an electric appliance, it works well to shop up vegetables and lettuces and I find it useful.

This is a great idea!
If you're like I am and want to eat more salads but hate all the "fixing" to get one together, this is for you. I takes a few tries to get rotation right to get the slicing right, but once you do, it's a breeze to make a fresh salad in just minutes.

Cool tool
Worked great for fruit salad but is super small but good quality and sturdy. Since I am single and only cook for myself - it is fine. You need to use a nice big flat edge knife.

Just rinse under water or use a brush if the items cutting are soft and mushy like avacado's. It does save a lot of time. Cut to size and set in slice and even without rotating as suggested the size is just fine.
