Amazingly works
Didn't realize my self filling 13000 gallon pool had a major leak in my pipework. According to my water meter I lost 50000 gallons in 6 months!!!It took 4 bottles over 3 months to partially and then completely seal the leak.

Didn’t work for me
Followed the instructions and no better.Doesn’t mean it won’t work for someone else

It works
I have to say the instructions are a little sketchy but by looking at the company website, the bottle and any where else, I came up with a way to use it. The two tiny leaks in my pool are no more. Both were in the bottom, and the surrounding area is now dry.

leaking pool
I have a 5m x 10m indoor pool, I have had a leak losing about 1" of water per week for months, I traced the leak to the skimmer flange seal against the tiled pool side. I had a pool company look at it and advised I needed a special mastic/silicone and would need to rake out the existing sealant and resealNoticed this product on line so thought I would try it, nothing to lose apart from £30.I emailed customer services for advice on how to use it for a leak around the skimmer. The advice was turn off the pump, refilll the pool to the normal level, then using food colouring drop some into the skimmer, the colouring should flow out of the skimmer and towards the leak. Magic, it did just that, so then with a squirty bottle aim some of the Fixaleak at the leak area, (i did both skimmer flange areas) then put the rest in the skimmer. Leave the pump off for 3 days. Then run on recirculation not filtration for a couple of daysIt has worked perfectly water level fine, I am really pleased with both the product and the Fixaleak customer service

Works well, easy to use
The delivery was next day which was as requested. I used the product to cure a leak in my 25, 000 gallon capacity swimming pool. The leak was approximately 3 to 4 inches a week which is quite a lot of water. After treatment it has dropped approximately 1 inch during the following week some of which could be evaporation. I am happy with the result.

leak - stopped
Prior to using this I had 2 to 3 tiles per week of water loss, minimum. About 3 inches, which equates to a couple of hours of hose use every few days. Gave this a go and now have had to backwash/waste water, to reduce the level from reaching the copings, due to some pesky summer rain fall - a first for me in 10 years. I had done the research and was fairly convinced my leak was in the return side - i.e the plumbing returning the water to the pool. I had isolated the skimmer and sump individually without much change in water loss, so got some plugs and sealed off the return jets in the wall for a few days, clearly with the filtration off - seemed to stem the loss. So, rather then just pouring this into the pool as per instructions, which seemed a bit diluted to me, I connected my two wall plate returns, via the sort of hoses you use to vacuum the pool; one to the skimmer pipe and the other pointed down into the sump (I just pushed the hose into the hole on the floor of the pool, having removed the cover and weighted it down with a pool brush and pole - this still allows the pump to draw as much water as needed, but directs the 'fix a leak' into the circulation system rather then the pool - in my opinion)..... Then, stand at the skimmer, bottle of 'fix a leak' in one hand, pool hose connected to one of the wall plates in the other. Get someone to turn on the pump - pour the lot in ( remember to set your valve to recirculate - not filter), once all in, plug your hose in to the skimmer inlet to complete the circuit. Run for a few hours and rest for a few days - done. This seemed to work for my problem. If you think the leak is in the shell of the pool, or around pool fixings, then this may not work for you - good luck.
