Ordered on Saturday evening got it lunchtime Sunday, great service.Quoted 14days delivery elsewhere.Also saved me £200 + on having to buy a new freezer.

Although I thought this single hinge was pricy for what it was, when your 6 yr old fridge decides not to close anymore in the middle of a heatwave, we sent off for it.It was easy to match the product with my Howdens fridge, but I was still relieved to find that it was indeed the correct one when it arrived ( very promptly ) .Following someone's suggestion on here, we also took off the decorative for front, which then made it much easier to get to the holding screws and see what you were doing.Between the two of us we managed it without getting a divorce ....and voila ...it works perfectly, closes like new, and I'm chuffed to bits that we now have a working fridge again for not too much effort.

Great to start with but over a short time less than six months there is a small bit of plastic in the hinge which keeps getting caught and stops you from closing four. You need to open a case a few times each time you open fridge / freezer. Eventually it will snap. It will prevent you from being able to use properly eventually. Original ones on lasted 11 years these have lasted 1 year.

Excellent product , this is the second one I have fitted the other one broke a couple of years back , cheaper than my partners idea of buying a new fridge .

Prompt service from Amazon, however, this is the 3rd hinge that has been put on my fridge. Clearly a design fault. The fridge has been discontinued, so I’m happy to be able to get the spare part, otherwise I’d have to buy a new fridge.

Worked as expected, my lovely son fitted it for me, this was the second hinge I had purchased as my freezer hinge also broke. Unfortuantely, I feel Howdens fitted white goods put too much strain on the hinge, so I expect to have to do this again in the future, but at least I know I can get them easily and reasonably priced from Amazon

Suddenly the door wouldn't close on my integrated fridge . Looked on Amazon and found the hinge l needed. Delivered Sunday and l replaced it that afternoon ! Took about 10 minutes-voila the door shuts again! Brilliant.
