Kickstand Extension Kit Fits for Harley Davidson Sportster XL XR Model 2007-2013

Hardware included will not hold the bracket to the kickstand on my sportster iron. There needs to be another bracket on the back side to hold it. The slot in the kickstand is wider and the bolts slip right thru.

They weren’t the right fit.

Besides the jiffy stand on my 19 FLT, every other HD we have its a pain in the ass to grab the stand with your foot, dyna, sporty doesnt matter.I snagged this because i was sick of listening to her complain every time she needed to put the jiffy stand down, and honestly i feel her pain, even riding it all the time you dont get used to how hidden and hard to reach the Jiffy is.This solved that issue, and even though it looks and feels cheap, it fit, and does the job better than just the jiffy alone.Why black? most HD jiffy stands are chrome due to the abuse and abrasion they see constantly. Make it chrome next go round.

I’ve got one older Suzuki that for some reason leans over way to far. I’m not sure if the old kickstand has been sprung or bend or what but sometimes it almost make you think it’s gonna fall all the way over when you put it on the stand. So this little piece did help it out enough that I am much more comfortable with how it sets. I did mount it differently on mine than the images show but I don’t recommend doing that unless your certain of what your doing. It was simple, didn’t cost nearly as much as a new kickstand, and it worked, so I would recommend it to anyone in a similar situation.
