Bakers & Chefs Bar Mops - 24pk  The nice thing is that you get 24 towels so you'll always have one handy.OK the fabric feels a bit rough. You don't want to use these as bathroom hand or face towels nor are they designed to be used that way. They are rough and tumble bar mop, kitchen towels. The pack I received were sewn properly and didn't shrink very much or fall apart when washed. Dried them on medium with no fabric softener sheet. They did fluff up a bit and there wasn't a ton of lint in the dryer, which I feel is a good thing. They do however still feel slightly rough. The finished size after washing and drying on my towels is roughly 19 1/2 x 15 inches. So like I said minimal shrinkage.So how do they function as mops and towels? The answer is very good. These are nice and absorbent and mop up a spill pretty quick. Also when I use them to finish hand drying some dishes or pans, they quickly soak up any remaining drops of water without becoming overly soaked.These are a decent general purpose kitchen mop towels and at roughly .70 cents per towel are a good bargain. Based on reviews the quality of bar mops varies greatly here on Amazon. These seem good decent towels so I'm going to order up another set just to keep as extras.Don't get me wrong these are good for their intended purpose. The reason for only 4 stars is simple. For me the rough texture of the fabric was a one star deduction.

I am not a little old lady with a lovely pristine designer kitchen with cute kitchen towels. I ride herd on a large busy household with college kids learning to cook (and not set fire to the house), with two large dogs and extra college kids who don't belong to me but somehow are always here. Despite many dire warnings that my kitchen towels are not to be used for wiping up spilled eggs from the floor, washing wheels on the latest vehicle or drying off wet muddy dogs, my kitchen towels have been used for these and many other less desirable things. I needed to find the right kitchen towel for what actually goes on around here.These bundled inexpensive bar mops are PERFECT!! Good size, pretty sturdy, absorbent, can be bleached many many times, and near the end of their usefulness in the kitchen graduate well to the garage. I recommend them to anyone who cooks a lot and goes through a lot of clean towels (like Holiday cooking), or for someone who is into techno-industrial kitchen designs, or for anyone who needs some kind of kitchen towel to use until their children (and their dogs) leave home.Someday, I will have a quiet home with a lovely pristine designer kitchen with cute kitchen towels. Until then, these towels are exactly what I need. Thank you for listening. :)

These bar mops are worth the purchase for me, the pack comes with 24 towels enough that if I wanted I could give some away to my sisters. They are perfect for drying, cleaning, picking up spills and doggie accidents, I am very satisfied with these bar mops.**UPDATE 12/19/2013: I've been using these bar mops since October 2013; so far I have no complaints. I've notice some reviews stating they received theirs from Wal-Mart, that the bar mops are falling apart with strings hanging and they look cheap. So far my bar mops are holding up even after washing them TWICE in the washing machine at normal speed with no Clorox (if you add Clorox it will shred your bar mops to bits).I did not receive these from Wal-Mart; I did not see the vendor's name as Wal-Mart. They dry my dishes, sink, counter top, bathroom sink these bar mops are very thirsty. I used one of the bar mops to wipe clean the oven when I spill turkey grease and it did an awesome job. I have saved money because I don't have to always buy paper towels. I will be buying more from the same seller since I have no complaints regarding my purchase so far.

I bought a pack of these over 3 years ago. I use one to four of these per day. There is usually a wet one hanging on my sink and a dry one used during cooking. They get used to clean every kind of spill, food mess, muddy dog prints, dusting, and more. They get thrown into a bucket and then washed with bleach in hot water. They have taken a cycle of beatings and they hold up. Sure, some of them have permanent stains and a couple of them have holes, but that's why I'm buying more. The old ones will be used for our shop and automotive repairs. Less than a buck for each and used hundreds of times. Each one was used approximately 274 times. $0.87 per towel divided by 274 equals approximately a third of a penny per use. That of course does not include the cost of washing. Let's see if your paper towels can boast those cost savings!! And I'm not done with them yet.

I have annihilated the rain forests for a long time in my life. I use a ton of napkins and paper towels. The cost of paper towels is not small. So about 6 months ago, I decided to give hand towels a try. I don't like to share hand towels in the kitchen so I bought this pack. Now when I cook or just make a sandwich, I use one of these towels instead of paper towels. I dry my hands, clean the kitchen counter tops, etc. Then I toss them into a hamper until I'm ready to do laundry. A wash and a bleach of these towels and they go right back on the shelf. When one really starts to get excessively stained or dirty, I just toss it. At about $1 per towel and using it for a few months before throwing it out, I get more than my moneys worth. Bonus: no longer needing the forests of the Pacific Northwest to supply my paper towel usage.

I used these when I was in the restaurant business. I throw them in the washer with bleach and soap and they come out clean. When I'm finished with them and they get stained I then give them to husband to use as rags in the garage. They are great to use.

These are some of the best bar mops I have found on Amazon. Must wash and dry before using. These will last a long time. The first set I purchased was a few years ago. They will stain over time, but serve well as shop rags once stained. These are my favorite bar mops.
