Carson Dellosa Skill Builders Reading Comprehension..Book has been very helpful for my 11 year old grandson.

This is a great book! It definitely helped my daughter with reading comprehension. She's an avid reader but the comprehension part was missing. It has helpful exercises that really help her to understand what the reading passages are all about. I definitely recommend this if you want to see an improvement on your child's standardized test scores!

I think this book is more for rising 6th graders than rising 7th graders. I purchased it for a rising 7th grader thinking it would be a good summer review of 6th grade Language Arts. We decided to start in the middle of the workbook since the early lessons were too easy. I think I will have my son do the early lessons in the book on days where he is just not in the mood to get any work done. It will be a quick review and an easy accomplishment while still keeping his mind engaged. The lessons are perfect for summer -- short and not too time consuming (I want him to stay sharp but still have a fun summer!) I would not recommend this as a textbook, if that is what you are searching for, but it is good for keeping skills sharp during breaks.

This is a very small book. Nice content

I thought this was a good quick book to keep your kids minds going during the summer. One page read and 5 questions about what they read. My son thought the topics were interesting and didn’t take him long so didn’t feel like homework! 😆

Book is good for out of class work .

Super easy for my 6th grader

The stories are quite short, but the comprehension questions are to the point. This all works for my tutoring purposes.
