Frankie & MyrrhHippie Go Lucky Natural Deodorant, 2.65 Ounce

For the past few years, I've been drawn to more "earthy" scents than I was previously accustomed to. This is a nice, fresh scent and not overpowering but is an acquired scent. I am trying to get away from antiperspirants due to the aluminum content and while I like this deodorant I use it in addition to a thicker deodorant underneath to protect against odor. I have to admit I haven't used this deodorant alone so I can't attest to it's actual strength. My husband loves this scent on me but won't try because he insists on antiperspirant while working out in the harsh Florida climate.

I've tried so many other natural deodorants and none of them worked. This is the first one that worked for me, I love it. Smell is perfect, not overwhelming.

Ok so I have been on a hunt for a good 5 years for a natural deodorant that works. I ordered this one even though I don’t love patchouli but I figured the orange and bergamot Might take over, and I was right! When I got it I saw that the second ingredient was baking soda-which always gives me a crazy reaction. I felt dumb for not realizing it, but I ready the instructions and it said to go super light when you first start wearing it because of the baking soda content and the possibility of irritation. I ran out of anything else to use so I just followed the instructions.NO IRRITATION!!! And no stink! Real talk I’m not one of those people who has no bo. I have lots. I stink a lot. And this stuff worked so well I can go days without showering, just keep applying it every morning.I just got a heated blanket and didn’t realize it wouldn’t shut off after a couple hours. I was sleeping in a 100% silk shirt which normally smells rank if I sweat. I woke up in a pool of heated blanket sweat and NO SMELL. Tmi but that’s a real review. I’ll be buying this again.

I was impressed with this product. I'm over 50 yrs old with sensitive skin, and my body chemistry is changing. After reading reviews I decided to try this natural product. It arrived with mini cards: instructions and encouragement. I read and noted both with hope.Upon my initial use, this product smelled good, went on smooth w/ a single swipe p/ instructions, and kept my underarm odor at bay for 10 hrs of work and then some. No bedtime usage. After 2 weeks, I started to feel irritation and my armpits turned dark with patches of red. I stopped usage and are continuing to heal the skin while trying to keep the odor at bay. It had such promise, but if you have reaction to natural products, proceed with caution.

Smells vintage-y and nostalgic. I didn't notice any weird chemicals on the list. Also, seems to be quite effective. I like it so far.

I know with aluminum free deodorant I was bound to be less than enthralled with the results, there is none in existence that’ll stand up to aluminum deodorant we’re accustomed to. That said, this works, I don’t smell and I don’t sweat. It has a lovely scent and I feel good about putting it on. BUT, there are drawbacks. The first time I used it, I almost ruined a brand new shirt. I used FAR too much and all around the arm hole of my shirt ( where sweat rings would normally be ) it still LOOKED like sweat rings but was actually a grease stain from the product itself. Most aluminum free deodorants contain some oil based products and that was never more apparent than day one for me. It was actually quite a turn off. I have begun using it more sparingly and with better results. It seems to be working as intended, but I will definitely be hesitant to apply it if I were wearing a new or delicate silk shirt or any top I’m concerned with staining, although the product DID come out of my cotton top. I think I just went overboard and used too much. I have a more is more mentality 😏

Update! This product contains sodium bicarbonate which is very harsh on the skin. I will admit I did not know this when switching to natural deodorant but after a week of use my under arms broke out in huge painful lumps and the skin began to peel! Please do your research and be aware that this very common skin irritant is in this product! My expectations weren't high but I was pleasantly surprised. I've been wearing this for two days and the smell is so fresh with the perfect musky balance. It mixes will with my favorite fragrance. What really got me was how long it lasted compared to store bought deodorants I've tried. I put it on before bed and it got really hot overnight. This deodorant was all I smelled in the morning. My girlfriend noticed it immediately and also really loves the smell. I say buy it!

THIS STICK SMELLS REALLY GOOD! I SMELL WAY BETTER AFTER WORKOUTS. Its natural which is really important for my health.
