I purchased this stand for my mom as she was moving from a independent living at a senior community (with a small yard) to a bit more assisted/apartment community without a patio. She is however allowed to decorate outside of her door. She has tons of flags, and likes to decorate for each season, holiday... This makes it possible for her to decorate and loves it!

I was needing to display my flag on the patio, so no ground to plant the flag stake. This is perfect for patio and the weight helps keep flag upright when the wind blows.

1. If you’re going to resell items, you should remove their original price tag before shipping them out to your customers.2. The holes on this are a little wider apart than the stakes on the yard flag I purchased, so I had to force the flag stake down into the base. This caused the paint to come off. If this were going to be outside I would be more concerned, but this will be used indoors so I’m not too worried about it rusting quickly.

Love the concept BUT … COME ON!No warnings it would only fit certain dimensions?Crud! Now I’m looking for ANOTHER flag pole to fit THIS! But after reading so many reviews - will it really fit?~ OR ~ do I just return it and cut my losses on this one?It’s difficult to know as people seem to have tried to do what I was going to do - order a flagpole to FIT this stand. I like to put the flag post in this base instead of in the ground. I place it in the shaded patio area so the flags do not fade as fast.

The holder is nice and seems sturdy. Problem is the tubes that you put your flag holder or decoration in don’t fit anything. They are an odd 3+”. I had to buy wood blocks and drill them to fit

I purchsed the flag and flag stand before going on a trip. Of course the first camp site was gravel and of course the flag stand would not push into the gravel. So I though the flag was going to have to wait untill we were somewhere that the ground was just the right combination of permiable and sturdy to use the flag. Getting this item that the flag stand/pole just slips into has made my flag valid again! set it up, throw a rock on it and you are good to go
