These lures are designed for squid so using them for any other species is tricky. That being said, they have been good fishing for invasive fish and attract them. If you hook a fish, just keep tension on the line to keep them on. The downside to the lures is the weight on the front bottom. They have been good until you catch something on the bottom and snag your hook. The weights hold on hard and will cause your line to snap if not careful.

Well thought out fishing lure. Some thought should have been given to a similar lure that could be used at night for Red Snapper and similar fish.

My husband loved them. Caught plant of squid this summer off the pier. People were offering to buy them from him while he was using them.

Don't bother....not one of mine worked. They just dont light up. Doesn't matter what I did. Save your money. Had so hoped they would work...but they didn't
