Nice jacket, well worth the money.
Seems like good quality. Lots of pockets airflow through is great. Has a small liner, but order 1-2 sizes larger since they run small and you can add a layer under it. It will be heavier than you expect also.

Great riding jacket but wind does come through the zipper
Jacket is well made, good liner but you have to wear something underneath of it on cold days because the wind will come through where the zipper goes up. It's very adjustable and I am 6'1 265 and the 5X fits well but if you're any bigger it won't fit you. The concealed pocket is very cool and the pockets also have good zippers on them All in all very good jacket other than the zipper and the smallish size

Not amazing, but a good budget option for a big guy
I'm a big guy (I wear a 3XLTall t-shirt/54 suit) and I don't have a whole lot of selection for motorcycle jackets in this price point. Well, I only need one. I already have a big leather jacket so I bought this specifically to fill the warm-weather gap. Having read the reviews on here I knew to go 1-2 sizes larger, so I ordered the 4X Big.Let's get one thing clear -- I'm buying this specifically to use as a mesh jacket in 60 degree weather and up. It comes with a cool-weather liner, which I zipped out immediately; if I need to ride in cool weather I'm going directly to leather. With the liner, the jacket is too bulk, so I'll probably never zip it back in.It's decent. It's a little too small, I really could have gotten the 5X Big & been okay, but LeatherUp makes the return process difficult and I wanted to just ride, dammit. So I'm keeping it. In reality, it's snug but it fits well enough, and the material is tight to the skin so if I do have a high-speed getoff I know it's not moving around on me. My biggest complaint is I don't feel it's quite long enough. It's cut such that it has a trim fit when you're sitting on the bike -- longer in the back, shorter in the front. Walking around town, it comes halfway up my gut -- not a good look, so I just unzip it. But sitting on the bike, it fits like a dream. The mesh seems fine, it seems like it will be just durable enough to hold up to a slide once. At this price point, that's all it has to do. The padding is a little bulky at first, but once you're on the bike they fit fine and are comfortable enough. It keeps you comfortable up to about 90-95° so long as you are moving. Black is probably not the best choice with the sun overhead if you're going to stay still in traffic. For the price point, it's decent. It's most everything I hoped for in a mesh jacket. It's a jacket I can wear in moderate heat without sweltering underneath leather. That helps me wear ATGATT -- for that, it's good enough. I'm not in love with it. If I cared to spend another $300 I'm sure I could find something I'd like a whole lot better. But I don't and I won't, so this will do the job.

Perfect fit!
I’m 5’4 stocky and this fit me just right. Can even wear a hoodie underneath and it’s not tight.

Xelement Black Mesh Jacket
This jacket is awesome. First off I went to the motorcycle shops to try on different mesh jackets for sizing purposes. I got to tell you these jackets all run small, I guess you want it as close fitting because you don't want excess material flapping around at high speeds. This is the rule I used when picking out the correct size. I normally wear a size XL in t shirts, tried the XL jacket on I couldn't even get it on, too small. Tried the XXL, was tight fitting and couldn't get the zipper to close. Put on a XXX L jacket on, they didn't have a mesh type so I opted for the leather one, and TADA! it fit perfect. So I ordered this jacket in XXX L hoping it would fit. And it fits perfect not tight or loose. You have the option of removing the quilted liner on this jacket to make it more breathable. I plan on wearing a hoodie under the jacket if it gets too cold, but how cold can it get in SO CAL? The outer mesh is maybe double thick as compared to the inner mesh. So I feel more secure riding with this jacket on than just a t shirt or hoodie. Armor is adequate and strategically placed in the impact/slide zones of the jacket. There are 2 side adjustments on the left and right sides, 1 for the waist and 1 for the midsection. 2 snaps are located on the sleeves to tighten them up for higher speeds, at about 1 inch. The main use for this jacket is for warm weather riding. I recommend this jacket highly for the fit, styling (very subdued and not flashy) and PRICE. Jackets of this type at Motorcycle shops are at 3 X's this price. So this makes it a no brainer in my book.

Buy the correct size. Big puffy arms.
I saw all these reviews that said to buy up a size. If you're a medium/regular sized human, don't do that. This is the second Xelement jacket I purchased (different models), and the second time that I discovered that you do NOT need to buy up a size. I usually wear a large. The X large was a little too big, the large fit correctly. I noticed a lot of the people saying to buy up a size were very large people. Maybe if you're a very large human you should buy up a size. That being said, I sent both jackets back because the arms were too large in proportion to the rest of the jacket. Big puffy arms, my girlfriend said I looked silly... like I was wearing a strong man costume. The adjustment straps on the sleeves have only one button, and it is only a fraction of in inch smaller, they do not reduce the size of the arms in any significant way. Appearances aside, the huge arms make the armor pads inside move all over the place.
