The Brute and the Beautiful Saxophonist
Absolutely beautiful music but Storyville were a bit lazy with all the information even though some infor was provided as to where and year of performances. The music is rare. What I like about Ben Webster is that he can play one and the same song but interprets differently at all times at different venues. If there's one album very elusive CD I wish to acquire is the Ben Webster "Live in Paris". 2 CDs of swings and Ballads is enough to quench any jazz fan othis magnificent artist. Very expensive though. A collector's item.

This album was recommended to me by my father. I never heard of Ben until my dad mentioned him and when I did a search online I heard some wonderful flowing sax, I was hooked.Thanks!
