recommend rinsing it off and strain it, remove all the perlite dust that accumulates. Dry it out and voilá! Good amount for the price too. Perfect size. Weightless.

This perlite is extremely high quality and there was little to no dust or fine particles in my bag. I do wish they gave you more for the price though.

This was a great deal and I have used it everywhere, in my garden, my indoor plants and my flower pots. It has done well in all. I will say that it is a pretty fine perlite so don't expect the big chunks you see in store bought potted plants. Also hold your breath when you close the bag because it tends to exhale a cloud of perlite dust.

While I prefer a larger nugget of perlite, this is a good general use product.

This is a great-sized bag for the money. The perlite pieces vary in size from a near powder to about 1/8" with none being very large, making it ideal for adding air to a houseplant soil mix. I can already see that the plants love it!

perlite was mostly dust, would not recommend or buy again

Dust will fly everywhere, messy! This perlite is super fine, and mostly dust with perlite thrown in. Ideally, most companies sell medium/coarse since that's what's commonly used for plants. They should mention that its super fine, to save buyers the disappointment, because nowhere does it mention that.
