Super cute and good quality BUT the weighted insert does not stay even when secured. Keeps going to the bottom and has to be readjusted. I hope an improvement will be made soon…My kid loves it regardless.

The quality of this guy is beyond great.He is so soft, the fabric is addicting to touch.The weight of the insides are perfect.Love it so much.It helps at naptime too with littles, I lay it over thier back and they go right to sleep, then I remove it. It has an amazing affect. When some of my students are over stimulated.. I just put this on their lap. Sometimes it's the weight and sometimes it's the plushness of the dinosaur that captured their attention.I am so thankful it's washable.I know I will use this for years to comeMy only negative is that the beads aren't dispursed through it evenly. You have to kind of shake them out where you want them to be as you put it on your lap or back or shoulders. ♡It's a wonderful gift and it's amazing as it is.

I chose this weighted dinosaur for night terrors/panic attacks for a 5 year old. Small beanbag heating pads showed promise, and led us to think the BARMY Weighted Lap Pad would also be effective, as it covers a larger area. It’s small enough to not get wrapped up in, and large enough to cover most of an elementary school age child. I am well pleased in its construction. It has a plushy smooth top and a soft textured underside. The head is huggable and charming. Inside the removable weighted interior, it is baffled to keep beads from shifting. It also ties in the inside corners to keep the whole in place. It’s machine washable exterior is also a plus.

My littlest one loves dinosaurs, so this was the perfect option when looking for a weighted item to help with sensory overload. The dinosaur is super soft, and filled with weighted pellets that help the weight shift as they carry it. It is a little on the heavier side for my two, almost three-year-old but he is still able to lug it around. It has definitely calmed them and helped to relax them when they're on edge. It has cute little facial details and seems to be well-made. Highly recommend!

Much like a weighted blanket, this lap pad offers the same benefits in a smaller package. The fabric of this cute little Dino is soft to the touch providing a cozy little lap stuffy to aid in calming down after a big day. This is the perfect size for my kiddo and not too heavy.
