DEMCiflex Square Black Magnetic Filter for Radiator 2 x 140 mm

Had trouble with it (magnet was too weak) until I realised that the frame was 2 layers (both magnetic). Taking off the layer with white on it solved the problem. Also the white paper turned out to be a sticky/peel-off, which is how you supposed to make magnet work on non metal surfaces.Second issue is that the entire thing is 120*240, as supposed to the internal space being 120*240, which means that part of the case opening was covered by frame.Summary:Pros: + Works as intended + Works on metal and non-metal surfacesCons: - Instructions it came with were inadequate - Expect the internal space to be just a bit smaller than your 120*240 case opening

These are great filters and the magnets are decently strong enough to stop the filter from sliding off. However the filter size isn't 140x280mm that is the size including the magnetic boarder. Making this filter perfect for 120x240 fans and radiators. When used with 140mm fans it leaves a tiny gap around the edges when used with mesh case which allows a small amount of dust in.

magnetics are very weak it wont fit over a 140x280 fan grill thats slightly raised even though description basically says its same width as its 140x140 version its actually not as wide as them also came with a crease in the linen that wont go should have sent this back but i modded it to get it stay

The quality seems fine, but the size is not. This is for 2 140mm fans, so the filter gauze should be 140 plus the surround. Instead it is 140 including the surround. As a result it limits the air flow and is tricky to position without leaving unfiltered gaps.
