Good book, but Sassoon is really hard to find

I bought the book for my granddaughter. I knew it was used but it was a book that she wanted. Disappointed that a page was ripped but on the whole in good condition.

This was my toddler's favourite book to get out at the library over the last few months, he'd always go looking for it, so had to buy him his own version to keep. Vibrant, colourful illustrations, and my three-year old absolutely loves finding Sassoon (even though he knows where he is on each page, it's still a fab game to him). We get more out of the book as I stop on each page and ask him to find things other than Sassoon - can you see the mouse? The frog, etc. I wish they'd bring out a soft toy of Sassoon - my son would LOVE that! I'd go hiding him every day. Please make one! And a second Can You See Sassoon with new hiding places. Thank you!

We got given this book for my then 11month old son for Christmas by friends and it has become our present of choice for friends' children.This is a lovely book with a simple rhyming storyline and beautiful illustrations. The story is simple - find Sassoon the snake who hides in the pictures. My son is still a little young to get this concept but takes great delight in pointing out other things in the book and particularily loves the lift-the-flap at the end (especially when accompanied by a loud 'boo' from mummy or daddy!).Highly recommended

The first time we read this book the whole family was gathered. We tried to see who could first spot Sassoon. It was far from easy to spot him but that in turn provided lots of giggles. The second time we read the book the children knew where Sassoon was hiding but it didn't matter since the story is so well written and so cleverly illustrated. There is so much to spot and discuss in the illustrations.

Lovely book to encourage children to become engaged in books and find detail in pictures.

Great book. My 4 year old loves it. Came across it in a cafe and he loved it, then found it again in the local library, and loved it again. Think we were just destined to own one.

Grandson aged 3 chose this book by seeing it in another book. He sat on my lap and we ordered it from the web.He was very excited when it arrived and we have read it hundreds of times, well, at least 50! He never seems totire of spotting where Sassoon is.
