MUNCH CONDUCTS MENDELSSOHN
These Mendelssohn symphonies were originally recorded in 1958 and 1959, performed by the Boston Symphony Orchestra conducted by Charles Munch, and originally released on vinyl for RCA Victor Red Seal label, and these symphonies are very well performed and one of my all-time favourite Mendelssohn is Symphony No.4 [known is the Italian] and my favourite key is in A major, and it`s my favourite CD and a great recording ever for me.

These are wonderful recordings.
These are wonderful recordings. The Hebrides Overture, Scottish and Italian Symphonies are a joy to behold. The orchestration is superb throughout. For such excellent interpretations, this CD is great value. Highly recommended. 5 stars.
