My dog suffers with bad breath and plague.I've been using this for a few days and I've already seen an improvement.My dogs breath is better and it's removing alot of plague. My springer spaniel weighs about 14 kg and 1 scoop a day has done wonders!.

This has stopped my dogs awful breath and definitely made his teeth cleaner . I think it took about a month before I could notice a difference. I give it to him every day and I intend to keep using it

Didn’t quite believe the reviews but thought I’d try as not too expensive. After just three weeks using once a day my cockapoo’s teeth are so much cleaner. Yellow stains on his back teeth all gone. He never lets the vet near his teeth and will begrudgingly allow me to clean his teeth (with a toothbrush & liver dog toothpaste) but really only so he can bite on it! I put a scoop of Bugalugs stuff on some peanut butter on a lick mat whilst grooming daily. He sniffed it first time then decided it was edible and was away!! One tip- scoop was buried beneath powder but is in there! Don’t use teaspoon as I did! Scoop very small so powder should last ages. No idea how it works but it does!! Breath better too but he will always have dog breath I guess!! Still using the liver dog toothpaste daily in addition to this. Update - Jan 24. Teeth completely clean now but still has dog breath!

I was very sceptical. The plaque wasn't really bad, but he had it on his canines and molars and i didn't want it getting worse. It came down about halfway in the groove in the canines (no photo). But you can see from the photo it's almost gone. He's had one and half scoops a day for two weeks (12kg spaniel). His trainer commented yesterday how white his teeth are. I'll reduce it to one scoop a day once I'm happy it's all gone, just to maintain it. No idea how it works but it works! If the plaque is really bad it will take longer to clear but give it time and you'll be amazed.

I read through description before I bought it here on Amazon , however when i received it and read the tub it states do not use on animals with thyroid problems ! That should have been included in description on this site that was my reason for buying it harmless after all …. Idk … I’ve been using it a few weeks now and noticed dogs mouthes are not as stinky and teeth do look somewhat cleaner.This morning I woke up to find my dog has had a stroke . I can’t blame the product nor do I know if he has thyroid problems but as a person who has had severe thyroid problems for years anything with seaweed must be avoided! Do not use on your pet without knowing their thyroid status !!!! Next 24 hours is prob decider for my poor little dog he will be back at vets in morning with gods grace . I shall be taking the product with me . Just please do not use unless you know your animals thyroid status it’s not worth the risk and Buggalugs please do a more thorough description on Amazon to stress the importance of seaweed and the effects it can have on thyroid issues ! I can honestly say I never noticed this info on the description! Maybe I missed it? Like I say I can’t say it was the product but I wouldn’t want anyone else to go through same! Please check thyroid status I will be asking my vet tomorrow .

Wow it does surprisingly work! I ordered this and a few other BugaLugPetCare products for my two pugs. It arrived very quick, and except from it having a very strong earthy smell it works so well! My 2 had really bad breaths & one of them had bad plaque. I definitely wasn’t going to start forking out for huge vet bills or start brushing their teeth because they would never let me do that so😂 anyways my two have been using this twice a day mixed into their meals and I see a massive difference, they don’t seem to mind the taste of it either. The only fault I have is I would like BugaLugs to sell a bigger tub of this, but except from that overall I am happy with this product & have ordered another tub to keep stocked up, 100% recommend. If your apprehensive about trying this product don’t be it’s definitely worth the money, Thank you x

I have 2 young dogs and wanted to make sure their teeth were healthy as I don't brush their teeth (my lab would rather eat the toothbrush!) I was using a water additive for a while, but decided to try this and I am pleasantly surprised at how much cleaner their teeth are looking. It doesn't work overnight, but gradually I could see less staining on their teeth, so it must be doing something. I will continue to use it.

Easy to use my doggies don’t even realise it’s in their food. I can’t rate for plaque removal I have just started using it.

Dog's breath will smell like the food they eat most of the time. My big old guy (100 lbs) was really having a problem. His breath was bad, and it was suddenly awfully bad. Vet no help. It was 'Stay away from me' bad. This product has helped him a lot. His tartar is going away. (I didn't expect miracles.)I never have had a problem with him eating it. He gets dry food but I add a glass of water to slow him down otherwise he is a vacuum & then will get sick due to so much air he inhales. I broke up a half slice of bread, laid it on top of his food, and he just scarfed it because he loved bread. I tried without the bread as well. He has not stuck his nose in the air.To the reviewer who said their dogs turned their noses up to it, just --Be smarter than what you are working with.--

Dogs liked it but I don't think it has helped much, maybe for younger dogs as more of a preventative

My 7 lb dog had the more horrendous breath to the point that my house smelled like rotting garbage. I tried everything. I purchased this and I’m not kidding the change in her stank was miraculous, like a next day miracle. It’s so nice to be able to cuddle up close with her. As a bonus both of my dogs are gobbling down their food. Apparently they love the flavor it adds to their meal.
