Loving Romeo: Special Edition Paperback (Magnolia Falls Series Special Edition)

Holy smokes! This book was so damn good! I can't wait to be in Magnolia Falls this year!This was book one in the series and it did NOT disappoint! Romeo and Demi were perfection!Romeo is an ex-boxer who owns his own boxing gyms and has a great group of guy friends. I don't know what it is about a guy group but it's definitely a mini-trope that I am obsessed with! Romeo is kind of a bad boy who ended up in juvi at 14 and is kinda rough around the edges.Demi just graduated college and has opened up a coffee shop in her small hometown. She comes from money but she hasn't asked for help from her family and started this shop on her own. Her shop just so happens to be across the street from Romeo's gym.Romeo has stopped in a couple times getting coffee for his grandmother and mom because they're obsessed. During those visits he's been rude and short with Demi. Demi doesn't understand why but later in the story we find out why. Without giving to much, her dad and brother have done some things that caused huge issues for Romeo.Romeo gets dared to fight a top fighter and since he never had closure in the boxing circuit due to his father dying during his last match, he gives in. Leo is the boxer he will battle and Leo turns to social media and just hassles and talks trash toward Romeo. Romeo is now in full training mode and he slowly gives into the attraction he has with Demi.Demi is also dealing with a little bit of a stalker issue and asks Romeo for a swap of services. She will make him protein shakes while he's training and he will train her in self defense.I loved the natural relationship that they built. They had sexual chemistry right away but overtime they really talked and bonded about the past, present and future. They really felt comfort and home with each other.

There are three things I have come to love and expect from a Laura book: amazing (found) family dynamics, and epic group text, and a child that just absolutely steals the show! I knew I was going to love Romeo, but what I wasn’t expecting was for Demi to be the one to absolutely steal my heart. That girl is a bad ass who loved fiercely and I loyal to the bone! I adore her and Magnolia Beans… girl crush activated!Romeo and Demi end up as neighbors when she opens up her adorable coffee shop right next to the gym he owns, and he keeps getting sent in for treats but his mother. Romeo hates Demi’s family so tensions are high until these two managed to form a friendship and then more! I loved Romeo returning to his boxing days and the way he fell for Demi and loved her!This little group of friends own my whole heart and Culter has the biggest piece! I love that we are getting a whole new town to love, and as always Laura’s writing and characters are both quirky and swoon-worthy! Small town and sports(ish) romance at its absolute best!If Laura writes it, you better believe I’m going to read it!

The first in the new Magnolia Falls series we are following Romeo and Demi. Romeo is a gym owner and trainer that used to be a boxer. Demi owns and runs a cafe next door to Romeo’s gym. Although these two are close in proximity their lives are worlds apart. Demi has lived a sheltered and luxurious life while Romeo has fought his way to being a stand up member of society. Their attraction is instant but there are forces at play bound to keep them apart. Once they decide to be together it was truly breathtaking. Romeo’s unwavering support, continuous encouragement and dedication to Demi is unmatched. Demi’s strength and growth is commendable, endearing and relatable. When Romeo gets called up to a big title fight the dynamics tilt but their dedication to each other is steadfast. Together they deal with the issues in each of their lives which is refreshing. Them overcoming things together and individually was so key to the strength of their relationship. The heavier bits of the book were balanced out by spice and humor which made it even easier to keep turning those pages.. I truly adored Romeo, Demi, Magnolia Falls and the Ride or Die crew, so much so I think it’s safe to say this is my Favorite Laura Pavlov book to date. I loved their banter and group texts and can’t wait to see more of crew and our precious BeefCake.

Laura Pavlov killed it with this one, I am obsessed! This is a sports romance (boxing) that follows Romeo Knight and Demi Crawford and I ATE THIS UP. Romeo is so dreamy. I loved the bad boy/good girl vibes and the chemistry between the two was chefs kiss 👩🏻‍🍳💋. Small town, enemies to lovers, grumpy x sunshine, bad boy/good girl - what more could you ask for!!

Book: Loving RomeoReview: Laura Pavlov never disappoints. I have read and loved all her books ❤️ these two at the beginning I lived for their banter and grumpy Romeo ☺️ Demi was a sweetheart she was such a loving soul and she really gelled with everyone in Romeo’s family/crew. Cutler/Beefcake his scenes were fricking adorable I need more of him and I cannot wait for Nash’s story. The way Demi supported Romeo when he told the truth about what her family had done to him and River and the way she spoke to her dad she was fierce. I’m glad towards the end slade was getting better would love a book on him ☺️ her dad was a piece of work 😡 I’m glad Demi called him out when he was wrong!! 🤬 Ronny I’m glad he got what was coming his way I wish Romeo roughed him up a little bit but oh well. The fight was amazing I loved every single bit of it and I was literally biting my lips while reading 🤣 my baby’s got their well deserved HEA they were absolutely adorable together 🥰 bring on River’s story!!!What I loved:* loving the friendship between the guys it’s ride or die baby ❤️* Demi is so hard working it’s really nice to see she could get everything on a silver plate but she wants to earn it through hard work.* Lilncoln and Brinkley it was so nice to see them 🥰 loved the way they were supporting Romeo* Romeo helping Demi out even though he says he hates her 😉* Demi eyeing Romeo 🥰* Awwwwie their nickname conversation was sooo cute* Romeo protecting Demi from her ex at the club ☺️* OMG beefcake 🤣 Cutler is sooo damn cute.* Cutler opening the door for Demi he’s a smooth kid 🤣🥰* Demi and Romeo are soooo cute I can feel the sexual tension when they are together* Demi jealous was adorable and Romeo knew it!!* The way Romeo comforts her when she tells him about her past SWOON!!* Demi apologising on the behalf of her family to River because he’s important to Romeo was ❤️* Their confession was just 😍 they’re so in love with each other* Love that Demi is part of Romeo’s crew and family and they love her* The boys messages to each other are just everything.
